why is everything fun a sin? why can't i just be a crappy person? yeah i have hateful thoughts about 80% of the time but i like it. and it's not like i go out killing people and stealing from people or do i go out hurting people just for the fun of it. so what makes me so bad?

yeah i may drink, and i'm a pagan, and the reason i'm not christian is because i don't believe that a god would send you to hell for not choosing a certian religion or lack of over the other.

People do not go to hell purely because of their sin. That is the biggest misconception about the bible and God that has ever been widely believed and accepted. People go to hell mainly for unbelief, which ultimately causes blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, which is the only sin that is unforgivable. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is to believe that God doesn't exist, that the bible is a fairy tale, that Jesus is not the Son of God, to reject the plan of Salvation altogether! Look at it this way, if you go into a store that only accepts cash for payment all of the credit cards and checks in the world isn't going to get you what you desire in that store. Likewise, God requires belief in His only begotten Son Jesus so that the price is paid for every sin committed along with the acknowledgment that sin was committed with repentance to follow. Once that happens the Holy Spirit of God comes to live on the inside of that person, giving instruction and power to resist sin and serve God during their life time. You might be a good person. In fact, there are many people on the face of this earth that live completely peaceful and productive lives without ever giving God a chance in their lives. However, the fact is we are eternal beings. From the Father in Heaven we came and back to the Father in Heave we all shall return...believe it or not!! The question is how will you return?

You said,
"and the reason I'm not Christian is because i don't believe that a god would send you to hell for not choosing a certain religion or lack of over the other."

God does not send anyone to hell for choosing a religion.
He created the world, and man rejected His authority.
He created a remedy (Jesus Christ) and man still rejects the remedy, and God's authority.

The remedy costs us nothing. It cost God everything.
Rejecting Christ is not rejecting religion, it's rejecting a relationship with the one person who brings true freedom.

The rejection of Christ is a choice we make.
And that's how we choose our own destiny.
God sends no one to hell.
It's a choice people make.

You were born into sin.You cannot go before the lord without Christ being the mediator between you and God.God is holy. Therefore he must judge sin.He cannot compromise. That is why he will send you,me,and anybody else that has a self righteous heart and mind.

Christians don't think someone is a sinner because they are a "crappy person." They think everybody is a sinner. In their eyes, you are no more a sinner than anyone else.

Hey, some people are just crappy people, c'est la vie, right?!

By the way, your avatar looks like Severus Snape. Or was that intentional?

I don't know. Don't you think a God who made everything pleasurable to humans a sin and then punishes them for following their instincts is, well, not exactly omnibenevolent?

It's about a relationship instead of religion.
