Guys, her point is that God could come at any moment - and we have to be ready.
Great question!

Yahweh said he would send two witnesses in the last days to warn the world of the pending destruction that is coming due to the breaking of Yahweh's Laws. (Isa 24)
Rev 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two lamp stands standing before Yahweh the Father of the earth.
But the world does not even believe they are here now.
These are the Last Days, right, so why aren't the churches teaching you that you need to find these men and follow them.

there were a lot of men who told people the end of the world would come all through the ages. God told them.
Unless you think your existence is an illusion, it is still here.
And would you accept the failure of the prediction as a proof against god?
I don't know if any definite and detailed prediction ever came true. If predictions come true they are mostly fairly vague and unspecific and open to interpretation or inevitable (e.g. if you keep playing with fire eventually you will get burned...)

God sent down Johnny Wadd Holmes to say something like that, but the devil got to him.
No getting around the old devil.

People have predicted things for centuries, many spouting the word of god, and few have been accurate. Even the atheists don't have exclusives.

If God sent His Son, and they wouldn't believe, what makes you think this will work. Nothing has changed.

i heard about that. we can only hope at least some will change.
good question, by the way
and as for the guy above me, he does still show himself to those he chooses. he does everything for a reason and we're not meant to understand his actions. we'll all understand when he decides for us to understand.
