In the book of John it talks about how Jesus turned water into "good wine" when even today it takes about a year to make wine after picking the Grapes. If it is possible for Jesus to turn Water to mature good wine instantly couldn't it also be possible that God when he made the earth made a mature one?

No, just look at the stories of the bible. When things are not provable, god does things miraculously. Yet when it comes to killing humans, God chooses simplistic and tortuous methods like drowning and disease. If he can make a planet in 4000 years (even though the grand canyon took millions of years to show up), then he wouldn't have to kill us so inhumanely.

The big bang was an "implosion".. not an explosion.. therefore something did exist and it imploded and created (not godly creation) larger objects.. this is a simplified explanation..... Space.. is it really finite? or is it infinite..same question really, it is just space, but maybe it does have a beginning, and if so, it has an end. We don't know yet, we are too simple minded at this time in our evolution on this planet. No aliens..other life forms, some more simple some more intelligent..but in our universe and in others far beyond what we can see with any of the instruments we have thus far invented.. We have a long way to go before we will find out.

Do you mean that God could create an earth with apparent history such that this apparent history is indistinguisable from real history? If it is indistinguisable then why not just cut the difference and call it history? This is no better than the unfalsifyable claim that the universe and everything in it was created last thursday with an apparent age.

Wonderful point! Thanks for posting that. :) My husband makes wine, and yes, it takes months at least. Some of the best wine does need to age for years. If you're making a really high quality wine, usually it's peak is many many years later.
Anyway, this is a great point when considering the "gap theory" etc... :)

All we can do is follow the evidence. If you are suggesting God left clues that would lead us to the wrong conclusion, we cannot know anything about the past.

If God created the earth with "apparent age" there's no reason to believe the universe is not 6 months old and we were all created with memories.

Yes. And he also used 65 million year old fossils to trick people.

Also, Jesus didn't ferment the water into wine, because he had no grapes; he trans-substantiated it.

God made a prefect world, Satan likes to rain evil on any thing good. Every thing is possible, when people have real faith and believe in Jesus Christ.
