Don't know, that's all they can do, maybe they're too weak-minded to try and find the answer for themselves? I don't know, but all I know is that when something good happens to them (lets say they get a raise) they say and actually mean, "Oh that you God!" but when something bad happens, they say, "Oh I did it." How about owning up to yourselves, yeah I might say "thank the gods" but I don't actually do it, it's just something to say when something ood happens, but Christians actually do thank God when they did something good for themselves...sad.

As a Christian, I don't ask God for every little thing. I don't need His help, for instance, in determining which shirt to wear today.
But when I need some serious help in making some of the hard decisions in life, I do, indeed, turn to God for guidance.
Now, concerning the issue of why would God worry about some timy nothing like me, well, before Jesus came, that was the general concensus about God. Sure, when it came to stupendous things, like rescuing the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt, God came through, but for the common every day joe on the street, God seemed impersonal and unconcerned.
That is why Jesus came. (Remember, Jesus said "I do what my Father tells me to do" and "When you've seen me, you've seen the Father" - His way of saying that now we can know what God is like, by looking at the things Jesus said and did.)
Jesus went around healing the sick, causing the blind to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear and the dumb to talk. He even raised the dead. He took a personal interest in people as individuals, and even ate with the "sinners" - those of whom the "religious" society looked down upon - thus showing a concern for even the lowest dregs of society.
To the woman caught in the act of adultery, Jesus showed a balance between justice and mercy when He told her, "I do not condemn you. Go and sin no more."
Finally, Jesus said "For God so loved this world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on (clings to, trusts in, and relies on) Him shall not perish (spend eternity in hell), but have everlasting life (in heaven). When God sent His Son into the world, it wasn't to condemn the world, but to save it. Whoever believes in the Son shall not be condemned. Whoever does not believe in the Son is already condemned because he has not believed in the only Son that God sent." (I added the words in parenthesis to help understand the original Greek).
So, you see, while we don't deserve God's grace, yet His love and concern for us is so great, that He sent His very best to rescue us from eternal separation from God and all that is good (such as love, friendship, kindness, HOPE, freedom from pain, etc, etc, etc).
And then, after He does all the work, He tells us, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" as though WE did anything! How amazing is THAT? That kind of Love ought not be dismissed too readily!

I am also Pagan and I believe we all need to take responsibility for our own lives and actions. The world is there for us to enjoy and discover. We already know the answers to our own questions if we just spend a bit of time thinking about them and use the brains we are born with.

God is the almighty one he knows all and has time for everyone, everyday. He is the only God, and I will turn to him in every time of need, and everytime I've turned to him so far he's helped me. Sometimes you think you can answer it for yourself, but you get the wrong answer, God will always give you the right answer. Praise Him.
God Bless You

My goodness Christian words to you are funny. how sad, they are meant to enlighten you to the word of God. Its your choice to be a pagan. Not my job to tell you differently, but I am to live the word of God and speak it because God loves us all very much. We are nothing without God, absolutely nothing. We are to surrender our will to Gods and do only what He commands us to do. could save ourselves so much misery if ppl did just that. God is not a nothingness in the dark abyss. God is the God of light that will bring you purpose, joy, peace to a degree that cannot even be described to you. It is my job to pray for you that you will know Jesus before its too late. He is coming soon, So I pray for spiritual eyesight that you may see and receive, spirutal hearing that you may hear truth and receive it. Choose wisely and choose soon, as Jesus is coming SOON. We look to God for our answers, as He is the only one that has them ALL>
