I am a Christian but I choose not to belong to any religion..
Why? I see many religions seem to pick out certain scriptures and dwell on them, thus, creating a religion of their own.
I live by the Word of God. I do intense Bible Study (3 hours a day) and His works..
I believe a person must be saved in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus is the Son of God, was crucified for our sins, rose on the 3rd day and will come again to take the saved souls with Him to Heaven to live eternally...

I am a Christian. I believe that God is the creator of the earth and the universe around me. I believe He sent his son to be the Messiah, the Savior of the world. I believe that Christ is God in the flesh that died on the cross to take the punishment for the world's sins. I believe in the Holy Spirit that was sent to us after Christ ascended into heaven as our empowerment throughout the day. I believe the church is the Body of Christ united by one Lord, one baptism, and one God and Father. We are one in Christ Jesus. I believe in the forgiveness of sins of all sins. I do not believe that there is some ranking of sins. I believe the punishment has been paid. We can approach God with confidence knowing that he is full of grace and mercy. I have full faith in God.

Agnostic

I have yet to see an arguement (for or against the existence for a God) that is both well thought out, or exlusive to one faith. None I've heard are airtight in any event.

I admit to my ignorance knowing that someday someone else will be proven right; be it the Atheist or one from any number of religions. Or they may all be right.

I don't know, and I'm fine with that.

I grew up without one, my parents were from two separate backgrounds. I am very happy not having one religion, I don't think I will every choose one either. I like learning about them, I guess that is why I am getting my degree in it? I would like to note that I do believe in God and the power of Prayer.

Eclectic Pagan.
I chose this path because it feels so right for me, and I've always held most of the beliefs.
I believe in the Goddesses and God, and that they are a part of everything in nature, all around us and within. My beliefs are mostly inspired from different sources, and would take too much time for me to fully explain at the moment.
Blessed be.

I am proud to say I am a Muslim. I believe in the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) as were given to us in the Holy Qu'ran. I believe in the five pillars very much. I believe this because in my heart I know Islam to be the true way of Allah. There are those who say bad things and believe bad things about it, but those aren't true. Islam is truly a religion of peace, and one of being submissive to Allah.

Jehovah's Witness

We believe the Bible. Jehovah is God (Ps 83:18)and the creator of everything (Is 40:28), Jesus is his son,(John 20:31) and they are not one and the same. Heaven is the spirit realm (John 8:21-23)and Hell is just the grave.(Act 2:31) The dead are just dead no more. (Ps 146:4) Satan is the Devil and very real. (1 Pet 5:8)The Bible was written by men who were inspired of God. (2 Tim 3:16)

Catholic, with Quakerly leanings.

I believe that the bible is inspired and contains God's truth, but that it's not the first word God ever spoke and it won't be the last. Tradition (of the church), guidance of men/women a lot wiser and holier than me, and the internal moving of the Holy Spirit are all sources of inspiration along with the bible.

I believe in the apostolic succession from St. Peter down to this sad, ex-Nazi pope we have today, -- ahem -- and that the Eucharist is the actual body and blood of Jesus today, in 2007.

I also believe that reality shows are dumber than dirt, but that's not related to my religion.

Or is it??? >:)

With a Th.D in Comparative Theology, I became a Catholic and went ahead and got one in Dogmatic Theology too.

Why? Because I studied ALL faiths from animism to Zoroastrianism and the only one that held up under scrutiny was Catholicism. Not, I hasten to add that all members of the Church through its history held up. But the faith does.
