Yes, but I'd probably do better with a food fast, and the last time I did one of those, I only lasted 12 hours! :-)

I had laryngitis once. Couldn't talk for 5 days. It totally sucked, and I am still trying to make up for that lost time. lol

When I was learning sign language I went for an entire day without talking, and I and pretending to be deaf and mute. It was a learning experience.

I have done a few...at age 10 I didn't speak for a year...I am obstinate...I hate talking...hate it! Communicating is OK, I hate the sound of the human voice...my husband complains that I don't talk..can you imagine? ha ha!

I'm a quiet person, but my husband is .... not. I wish he'd take one.
May god not strike me dead (yes, that's irony) for saying this, but it was almost kind of nice when he had Bell's Palsy.
