Do you believe the bible's evil?Or holy? If not, will you sacrifice your own children or would you sacrifice them for your sins as the bible says? The bible says Abraham sacrificed his own son so he might know god? Yes if you are soon to have a child kill it that you may have eternal peace. Most holy or not?Woman should be killed; they have no place in the bible, a part from being sexual slaves. Take a look for your selves girls?

No, I don't believe a book is evil. I certainly don't believe it's holy. The bible doesn't tell you to sacrifice your own children, it says God commanded Abraham to do it... no one else. It does not say women should be killed *sigh*.... I have read it myself, though it does show that women were considered property of Father and then Husband UNLESS they joined the temple itself... I don't agree with this, but you're twisting things around. You're taking several things, mixing them up into one idea and claiming the Bible says all of that within the context you are delivering it. You want to show them what their Bible really says, then quote what it really says and stay in the context. Otherwise, you're only doing exactly as they do.... and that won't teach them a damn thing.

The Bible is the inspired word of God. It is holy.

There are a couple of things you stated that are incomplete.

In the story of Abraham, God was testing Abraham's faith.

God already knew Abraham, and Abraham was a man of faith.

The child was a gift from God born when his wife, Sarah was very old. Well beyond her child-bearing years. Through this child, a great nation was promised, generations into the future. This nation became known as Israel, then Hebrews, and finally by today's name, the Jews.

Abraham knew all these promises when God told him to take his son into the hills. Then, God told Abraham to prepare a sacrifice. There were no animals around, but God insisted on a sacrifice. The only other living being was the child, so eventually Abraham placed him on the altar, and prepared to sacrifice the child, and all of the promises God had made.

Abraham knew God would not lie, so the promises must be true, but even in his lack of understanding, he trusted God and was ready to do as he was told.

Abraham passed the test. He was willing to rely on his great faith more than on his understanding. God then provided a ram in order to finish the sacrifice.

As for women in the Bible, they play important roles in many places. There were female rulers of the Jews, and many often heroic women. Some were subtle in their heroism, like Ruth, while others like Deborah were more outspoken.

All of them loved God, and trusted Him. They did remarkable things because of their faith. Some were true sinners and prostitutes before they came to know God. Rahab for example was such a woman. Because of her bravery and work for the Lord, she was granted the position to be an ancestor to Jesus.

Men who misused women were outright killed, per the Mosaic laws that the Jews followed. These laws were given by God.

God loves all of us, male and female, equally. He is especially fond of those of us who honor Him and His ways. He especially dislikes those of us who insist on misreprsenting His words and actions.

Maybe try reading the bible in context, and some of your questions will be answered.
