Muslims are a religious group, not a racial group.Saying it's racist to hate Muslims is like saying it's racist to hate gay people, fat people, short people, blind people, or deaf people.None of those groups of people are racial groups just like Muslims aren't a racial group.Yet it's okay for everyone to hate White people, even though they are a racial group.

Because alot of the people who say this still haven't gotten it through their heads that there are people besides Arabs who are Muslim.

I'm ignoring that last sentence because it's not "okay for everyone to hate white people"

I would not call you a racist, I would call you a xenophobe [look it up] ...! No religion is without its zealots and extremists ... ! As for Christian history, you probably have not heard of The Spanish Inquisition ... or Oliver Cromwell ... or the Salem witch hunts ... etc etc etc. As for following the teachings of Jesus, who BTW is an honored prophet in the Muslim faith, you would be going against his teaching which was to love ALL your fellow men [even the unlovable ones like you] ... he most definitely did not condone 'hating' ... and by saying 'Death to all Muslims!' you are no better than the terrorist extremists who were responsible for 9/11.

They say Racist because they can't think of a more polarizing term to express their hatred. And no form of generalize hatred is 'ok'. I don't like Christians, but that's grounding on the fact that the majority of the ones I meet seem to be bigger liars, cheats and more frightening then the Atheists I know.

But I make it a point to give each individual one a chance.

It's not racism in the literal sense, but that word has been used to describe any kind of discrimination. Even discrimination based on country of origin. And no, no one ever says it's okay to hate White or Caucasian people.

people say that because when most people think of muslims they think of arabs, so when they say muslim they are saying arab too. but i agree w/ you it isn't a race. i have heard people say that you can be racist against christians, even though they are just people who follow a certain religion just like muslims. and i have heard people also say that you are racist against those groups that you listed, but that just shows their ignorance

Because your feelings and what you are saying is "hate". To hate another human being IS prejudice to that one or group.

You are mostly right. The only Religion you shouldn't say you hate is Judaism, because Jews really are their own religion, ethnic group and culture group, all at the same time.

I can't believe you would let the threat of being labeled a racist prevent you from declaring your hatred for anyone.
