Why is it always "I don't understand it, it must be ghosts, god(s), paranormal activity, ESP, previous lives"?

Shouldn't we first exhaust all the possible natural explanations before moving on to supernatural territory?

do some on here attack others on their views, send hateful and vile emails when you dont agree with thier point... put labels on us like anti or pro, some of us on here have completely different views than others.. i for one respect everyones right to their own opinions, after all this is not a chat room its q and answers....i know it is only a very very small amount of people on here causing this unease, but it only takes a few... so lets lighten up and respect other posters here...

and listening to an ipod instead of the procedings? Just shows how much "Respect" they give in return for being allowed to dress & behave as they please. No wonder the country is going to the dogs. These people need to learn about civic duty, never mind demanding to teach wearing a veil etc.

Why don't we see these planets and everything else smashing against each other all the time, surely we have seen beyond? Who is holding all this together at 5 miles per second if not faster with such force. And if all these pulling and pushing reactions are doing it, surely there must have been a ultimate architect. Easy on this one I will trickle down proof......

In order to be saved you have to repent of your sins and be baptized

Now, in no way am I assuming that all are like this for I've met some very nice Christians and I was actually raised Christian. However, I often hear many proclaiming that there is only one God and that prayer whould be in schools and that public Christian displays should be the norm....etc. etc. etc.

Um excuse me..... how many MAJOR religions are there around the world??? Is everyone wrong? What makes some Christians think that they are the ONLY ones who can be right???

In the evangelical tradition if you say a paragraph on a card you go to heaven, all sin past and present is forgiven, so as long as you really mean it at that time thats it, you can go off and committ attrocities but God will forgive you.

He would be like a DA that cant convict because you were not read your rights when arrested.

The catholic tradition is a lot more logical. You need to be in a state of friendship with God. You have to without a doubt work out your faith with fear and trembeling and be accountable to God and his people for your whole life. You have to give your whole life to Jesus and endure to the end.

It sounds a lot more like what the bible was talking about and what early christians believed.

YOu can quote the bible but you are quoting it out of context.

It seems really odd to me that I hardly ever had any religious group come to preach at my door,but as soon as I was baptized I had so many.First the Jehovahs dropped watch tower at my door,I was attracted to the pretty cover picture but inside was disgusted with how they disagree in blood transfusions and argue the trinity isnt real and Jesus wasn't crucified he was staked,then the Mormons came,I actually invited them in and looked into their eyes,they left dissapointed cuz I didn't want their ideas.Then I was spiritually attacked in ALL DIRECTIONS it was like some thirsty battle over me.Has this happened to anyone else????

I've read entire familys are taken caprive / fall into bondage to Satan and his Secret Society. Is this because they have played so called occult games or partook in occult activities such as witchcraft? Does this enable the spirit of the Antichrist to entwine itself into there souls making them vulnerable to there Demonic forces / Witch craft? Is the mark of the Beast 666 a spiritual mark placed on the soul after going through a transcendental meditation ceremony? Is Satans greatest wepon fear? I've read the Free Masons the Hells Angels and the Mafia are big role players in this Secret Society. Does that mean we have a bunch of Judges and people in Law enforcement who are Hells Angels? And are all of them controled like puppits by Satan and his Chosen Dambed?

I am a struggling actress in NYC. I recently met another woman who has offered me free room and board in exchange for working 40 hours per week as her housemaid. She appears to be an up coming banker of some sort in her mid-30s.

The deal seems pretty sweet although I get the impression that she is a bit of a snob. Her name is a Janice, but told me to call her Miss Johnson. She also has asked me to wear a uniform which she is providing. It basically is a simple black dress with black flats. She also asked me to wear hosiery which I think will make my job harder to do.

Does this seem like a fair deal? Her place in NYC is 5 bedrooms and very nice. I will get my own room.

I wanted to mention this because I believe that there are many who go through life wondering when something real will happen for them.Whether in love,in work related issues,and life.I do know that God exists,and i have experience his presence.And there are times when I feel alone,need to talk to someone,and yes I talk to God,but he also gave us each other.Can anyone identify?

Are they if one breaks the 10 commandments and does not repent..? Or do you disfellowship for reasons that the Bible has not commanded not to do..The Bible tells us what not to do in the commandments..Do you disfellowship for other reasons as well? If so..what gives you or your elders the right to judge someone so harshly? Being shunned is considered one of the most cruel punishments ever..How does one love his brother one minute..and the next not speak a word to him? That is not true Christian love..That is being judgemental..
