Or did Jesus defer the job to someone else?

2007-07-25 02:40:32 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous in Society & Culture Religion & Spirituality

Didn't a person ask about this in scriptures and they all pointed to Muhammed SAW to be the one to do the job... Night Assension.... I am disappointed in my brothers and sisters in Islam that they didn't answer this one. Isa.a.s. aka Jesus said to consult Muhammed SAW for this task.. everyone in heaven was consulted and Muhammed SAW is the only one that will ever be able to remove us from hellfire by the mercy and grace of the lord only. If Muhammed SAW asks... and we better pray for his peace and blessings so he does ask.. not many are going to enter on their own merits, Christian, Muslim or Jew, or Buda or whatever you look into all religions and you wil see there is more in hellfire than in any other place.. DiVinci pictures alone enough proof of that.

So, I'm Jesus, and I'm speaking to a bunch of peasants and fisherman. Do I try to explain my message with big words and difficult concepts, or do I talk in a way that is emotive, effective and easy to understand ?

Which fire?

If you are referring to after our death, no. It is not literal. the Bible speaks of the condition of the dead in Eccles.9:5,10. There it says the dead are unable to have any thoughts or feelings. So what value would a literal fire have?

If you are speaking of resurrection, he would do that personally. He has been given that power by his Father to resurrect the dead back to life.

If you mean enemies of Christians at Romans 12:20 by doing good to them it would be like pouring fiery coals on their heads, well....they certainly feel it to be real. It hurts just as bad.

He said He will not only remove us from the fire. He will give us that very life when He walked on earth as a man. That very life which is righteous, healthy & never lack. He cried,"My God! My God!" on the cross so that today we can cry, "My Father! My Father!" in our prayers.

He who knew no sin became sin for us on the cross so that ALL our sins are punished on his body & ALL of God's wrath is exhausted on His body so that today we enjoy our unearned righteous life as the children of that very One who knew us even before we were born.

All you are required to do is believe on Jesus and you are saved from it. Make a public profession of your faith and get baptised. Show Jesus that you aren't ashamed of Him. Your faith in Christ removes you from the fires of hell and your name gets written in the Book of Life. Everlasting life is a free gift from God. It cannot be earned.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

You might as well be asking whether or not the Heat Miser really called Santy Claus a dirty old bastard. Both are fairy tales made up to keep children amused, in line, and obeying commands.

Those who believe in him have been plucked out of the fire by himself ... not literal, but basically another way to say: Saved from sin; and the punishment of sin=hell etc..
