You must be first able to identify God as the force of anything that is about creation, birth or growth, etc (FORCE OF LIFE). God isn't somebody from above.

Then you must be able to identify Jesus as the living force in every living entity, Jesus isn't a real person, Jesus in the book represents the capability of that force within us. JESUS IS WITHIN EACH ONE OF US. Those stories isn't literarily true, notice Jesus only speaks the truth when he says, "I tell you the truth" but the rest is all figure of speech

World in the bible is the consciousness.

do not be easily judgemental, this isn't easily can be understood, you can only see what i see, only if you truly know yourself. (learn to understand your personal instinct)

read the bible, then try to picture what i have just told you

I had dinner with my aunt last night and naturally she asked the first question older folk always ask us young, single, professional women: why we're not married yet. Then she grabbed my hand, looked into my eyes, and said: "Rachel, when you learn to dance with God, the perfect man will cut in."

I managed to keep a straight face at the time (still not sure how I did that) but now in retrospect I pose this question to you: what the bloody hell does that mean????

Dancing with God?

Seriously?

Whyy do "christians" dismiss 90% of it as being irrevelant to modern society?
Either it IS the true word of god and therefore MUST be heeded in ALL matters, or it IS A LIE and is just a book of stories that have no bearing on modern life.
Which is it, truth of r fallicy?

I really love learning languages currently learning french and spanish which I'm taking for GCSE.

I was just wondering about whether or not it would be a good idea to take these to a higher level, is it easy to get a career in languages? Also, would I have to stick with atleast 2 or even more ?

How many would I need to know to have a good career in it ?

thanksx

This is according to the ancient Maya calander. Which is correct, if you dont believe it, thats because you are scared... We need to embrace it and spend the next 5 years enjoying life... EVERYTHING THE MAYA PREDICTED HAS BECOME TRUE

Horror movies make money hand over fist.

We have a holiday that celebrates the macabre, and encourages fright.

There is even an argument (whether you choose to acknowledge it or not) that fear is what drives religion itself.

What is it about being frightened that we are so drawn to?

. . . as the main determining factor of who sees heaven versus who is going to hell. But this is because Adam and Eve ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, rather than the Tree of Life. Our notion of good and evil, and comparing ourselves amongst ourselves with this "relative righteousness" is what trips up so many people in coming to an understanding of the ways of God. People don't get that it's one's intimacy with God, and the righteousness and holiness He ascribes to you is what marks you for heaven, not how good you are versus how evil you are.

Of course this is merely my opinion, and I'm certain more scholarly members in here can jump all over this. Anyone care to discuss?

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

if they were to recieve a blood transfusion? Can one be disfellowshiped if they disagree with some of your beliefs? Can one be disfellowshiped if they talk to one that is disfellowshiped?..Can one be disfellowshiped if they go to someone elses Church? ..are these "sins" that you speak about?..
I wonder if Jesus would treat them this way if he were on earth today..I don't think that he would..That is NOT showing love..I don't disipline my children in such harsh ways..I would never shun them..I would show them and talk to them..give them more love by showing them what they are doing is wrong..We are God's children..

i know that Catholicism frowns upon the use of contraception; however, they allow for the use of natural family planing. could someone help to further explain this? also, consider the argument of using contraception responsibly, ie for the same reason of natural family planing in delaying/spacing births so as to be open to family responsibly (being sensitive to the female body's increased stress with each pregnancy as well as for financial/economic reasons).

I am just a curious Catholic
