Yes, No or wait.....the same logic could be applied to anything. If you prayed to a pack of gum you will always get the same results as if you prayed to a god.

Or how about God saying "no". I believe there are no unanswered prayers. There is Yes, No, and Wait.
As far as waiting, I would say for the rest of my life. I have heard and read so many stories of people faithfully praying for something (someone's salvation, etc..) for years and years. In one case, it wasn't until the lady died that her grandson that she had been praying for was saved and straightened his life up.
It is us to believe that God's will will be done in His time and not our time.

"..but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth." (Ps 37:9). Waiting for God to answer your prayers should be a joy. It will be a time that God is helping us to grow in character and knowledge. Every Godly man exemplified this aspect of waiting upon the Lord. So trust Him, be faithful to Him and he will answer your prayers (Yes, No or wait).

There is no such thing as an unanswered prayer...God will either give you a Yes, No or Wait...be still and listen for Him to answer you...He will answer your prayer in His time.

God answers all prayers. Sometimes what we call unanswered prayers is just Him saying "No".

God doesn't answer prayers, prayers are nothing to god, if its his will to arbitrarily bless you, you will be blessed.
If you think your prayer supersedes all those starving christians in 3rd world countries whose prayers never seem to get answered, then by all means keep praying, I'd wait in line though. It's only fair.

Remember there are over six billion people on this earth. You're at the end of the list. Your request will come up in a few hundred years.

God always hears your prayers.
if you pray, you prolly won't always get what you want...in different ways, he will answer them.
like if you pray to get an A on your next math test....
you get a D- ...
so you go this tutoring class afterschool and then you meet this great guy...
ya'll go out and then, you begin to get better and better at math...
and this question i asked (that i DID get from evan almighty)
statede that God maynot give you want you want; but he'd give you the opporitunity to do what you prayed for.
like courage...... he'd give you the opporitunity to be brave.
that's how i look at it.
he does hear you but you're in his plan.. and he will watch over you and protect you.
and you could wait forever but he's doing what's best.
