Since the world will end on Dec. 21, 2012. How is everyone preparing?

This is according to the ancient Maya calander. Which is correct, if you dont believe it, thats because you are scared... We need to embrace it and spend the next 5 years enjoying life... EVERYTHING THE MAYA PREDICTED HAS BECOME TRUE

God did not tell us when the world would end, only that it would. He did this for two reasons, He wanted us to always be ready (not 11th hour repenters), and he didn't want us to obsessed with worry.

Whether the world ends on the above date or not I'm afraid you will be waiting a lot longer for the rapture than the rest of us will be waiting for the last day. Take what the Bible says in context, not just a few words at a time.

Even the angels & the Son of God don't know when it will come to an end, so why would the Maya? He said to be ready since He will come unexpectedly. Therefore, you cannot put a date on it. He will not come on that date. Maybe before, maybe after, but not on 12-12-2012.

I'll bet you $1000 that the world will not end in 2012. On Jan. 1, 2013 the winner will collect.

Now, if you are right, and the world ends, your $1000 will of course disappear and it would be of no use or value to you anyway, so you really are not losing anything, right?

For that matter, you might as well liquidate all your assets and put them in escrow for me. If I am right, I'll return half of it all to you. How's that for a deal?

The world will not end 12/21/12.
The Rapture has to happen, then 7 years of Tribulation, then 1000 years of the Millennium. After the 1000 year reign of Christ, Satan is released to gather his Army and fight the Battle of Armageddon. Satan will be defeated , then the Earth will be destroyed.

No that's not correct and I'm not afraid of dying. The world will come to an end as we know it, not a physical end. Why is it all these people love to try and spread fear? I think you need to actually study about this and learn the true meaning instead of jumping on the fear wagon.

We are all going to die some day so it's nothing to fear. Heck you could die today when you walk out the door. Death comes for us all. We are dying the day we are born. Don't fear death. I believe the only reason people fear death is because they are unsure of where they will go afterwards.

There have been a lot of people that predicted when the end would be - and THEY'VE ALL BEEN WRONG. Jesus said no one, not even Himself, knows the day or the hour - but only God knows (Matt. 24:36). But, that doesn't mean we can say "I don't have to worry about it now, Jesus won't come for a while." You are right when you said we have to prepare because when Jesus does come again to take all His followers to Heaven - were going to want Him to take us with Him and not say "I never knew you."
