What I mean is that all over the Globe many people are turning to Jesus Christ as thier reeedemer thier hope and what is getting them through such turbulent times.

In our Country Christian Warriors and I don't mean that as gun sword toting revelors, but people who stand for GOD will fight tooth and nail to keep GOD in our daily exsistence, wether it's having Christmas and Hannukkah Displays on public property.

Here in San Diego the ACLU and the Athiest lost in trying to remove to Cross on Mt Soledad.

Anti-GOD are not winning people, but people are turning to GOD in every way to make life the one he intended for us to lve by.

So do you think the Anti-God people will thow in the White Flag soon and give up thier fight?

You pagans ask us why we have so much faith in God, why do you have so much faith in not believing in him? What proof do you have that hes not alive?

Even if there be a god, it is not OK to disagree with him? In Plato's Euthyphro, Socrates shows that God is not the only source of 'good.' For example, aside from Socrates, I ask, before Moses climbed the mountain, did his tribe of desert nomads not KNOW that killing and stealing were bad? Is something 'good'--back to Socrates now--because God ordains it, or does God ordain it because it is already 'good'?

(I hope fundamentalists do not think I am being rude to you, but my little question really isn't one that you can answer--your usual holier-than-thou babytalk is of no interest to me.)

For some reason, I just can't let things go. I always feel I must get revenge, otherwise I cannot rest.

A long time ago, I started working in a small company (without having had an interview). I worked extremely hard for a few days and then finaly met the boss for an interview. The interview didn't go so well because I was nervous and he basicaly put me out. He didn't pay me the approximate $200 I should have earned.
So What I did...was took a bb gun and shot out the windows, mirrors and interior dashboard of his Brand new Benz while it was in the parking lot. I did it right before work would have gotten out to make sure it would hurt him most.

More recently, I got a $95 parking ticket on my car. Even if I deserved it, I think the fee was extortious. So what I did, was punish the city by destroying city property until I felt a balance. This way I could justify to myself having to pay $95

(This question is relevant to R&S because much of the opposition to same-sex marriage has been launched from religious institutions, even though marriage is allowed for different-sex couples, regardless of their religious affiliation. Some religious people have stated that they would allow "civil unions" but not "marriage.")

Since the dead are no more,do not exists,God is not their God.
He is a God of non -existent beings. The faithful dead however
are promissed a resurrection and at that time he will prove to be their God in deed,by bringing them back to life( Most in Paradise
on Earth)

So all this suffering in this world is so that God could be loved?

In other words, God wants unconditional love and obedience from his creation. He wanted to create free will beings that will love him more than they love themselfs?

Okay, so why doesn't he come down and teach us? A book is not enough. Satan is confusing humanity according to the bible. Why does God make it so hard.

Why didn't he set up a school so that we can learn to live. Why didn't he teach us like a parent teaches his kids day after day, year after year.

Yes, the bible exists, but it almost worthless because each people intreprets the bible their own way. I can say Jehovah's Witnesses understand the bible the best but nobody would believe me.

There is to much suffering in this world, Children are conditioned from birth so that they find it hard to believe in the God of the Bible. Doesn't God see that we need better help in order to love him?

It is so overwhelmingly fustrating!

In matters of faith, I am no expert. Nor am I 'pure' by any means. My question and plea is to those who are more devout than I. Not because I lack the faith, but more I lack the knowledge.

Will noone stand against Shirley Phelps-Roper? Spreading hatred and pain cannot be in the best 'spiritual' intrest of any church. Why has noone taken a stand against these people?

I asked my mother, who is highly religous, and the best answer I could get is 'They will get theirs.' Yet, I felt no comfort from this statement. They picket the funerals of my fallen brothers, those who are slain at Virgina Tech, etc., etc.

As a former U.S. Marine, it pains me that I spent years of my life protecting the rights of these people as they use a slogan I tried to honor as a weapon against families during their childrens funerals. To watch as she and her clan dishonor their memory and sacrifice cuts a wound to my soul, I can't even explain.

I'm just curious...
Why do you think that it's true?
There was actually a group of people that chose what the bible said, they took out alot of things. They chose what they thought was true. Why do you have complete and utter faith in something that humans tampered with? What convinces you so much that this is in fact the word of god?

I just watched the 1956 version of Anastasia with Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brynner. Apparently it was based off a true story. The movie didn't quite make it clear but I'm interested in if historically this woman might really have been the daughter of the Royal Family.

This is what I believe: God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.
Now, tell me what YOU believe.
