She immediately recognized him, threw her arms around him, and, like he does at the beginning of his show, she took off his shoes. So, anyway, only humans have souls, right?

I am looking for a good, solid book on the history and folklore of Wicca and its history. Without spells in it.
I want to understand its core before I dive into rituals and spells.
Serous answers only or violations will be issued.

I guess it's just me but, here at work, often people in my department whom I've worked with on occasion, sometimes even people on my own team, will just ignore me when we pass by in the hallway or in the kitchen. To me, it's common courtesy to say "hi", at least acknowledge, give a quick smile or even a simple eyebrow raise. But, I guess I'm in the minority. If you work with people, wouldn't you want to show just a little professional courtesy? It's not that everyone is this way but, most people seem to be. Our office environment is not stuffy or overly-corporate. It's very open and youthful. I guess it's just another example of how common courtesy and politeness is slowly deteriorating in this country. Sad. Don't even get me started on other drivers!

I know none of us know for sure but for those of us who believe in heaven what's your concept? My uncle who has since passed, had a near death experience and reached the other side into heaven. He saw his loved ones who had passed before him and they told him how much work is still going on in the next realm. He saw my grandfather who was raising my little cousin who died from cancer at age 3. He (my cousin) was the age he would have been on earth had he lived. They told him much work was being done for the cause of Christ and it continues as we pass over to the next realm. This is just a short explanation of what he experienced - he experienced many more things there, especially beauty, peace, and unconditional love. Thanks for your answers. Blessings -

The most translated film in history has reached another milestone. The JESUS Film recently reached its 1,000th translation when the movie was translated into the Lanka Kol language, a people group numbering more than one million in India.
I see many, many Arabic-speaking people turning to Christ, accepting Him as Lord and Savior,” said Nizar Shaheen, host of Light for the Nations, a Christian program seen throughout the Muslim world. "It's happening all over the Arab world. It's happening in North Africa. It's happening in the Middle East. It's happening in the Gulf countries. It's happening in Europe and Canada and the United States-in the Arabic-speaking world. Everywhere, people are accepting Jesus."

"What's happening nowadays in the Muslim world has never happened before," said Father Zakaria Boutros, an Egyptian Coptic priest who is one of the foremost evangelists to the Muslim world.

For centuries the Holy Spirit had inspired the Church to pray for the "pefidious Jews" that God would remove the "veil" from their hearts. Perfidious means "faithless"! This is an description of the modern Talmudic Jew. So why remove what the Holy Spirit had inspired?

In the Good Friday liturgy prior to 1959, the prayer for the conversion of the Jewish people read:

Quote:
"For the conversion of the perfidious Jews. Let us pray also for the Jews that the Lord our God may take the veil from their hearts and that they also may acknowledge our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us pray: Almighty and everlasting God, you do not refuse your mercy even to the Jews; hear the prayers which we offer for the blindness of that people so that they may acknowledge the light of your truth, which is Christ, and be delivered from their darkness. "

Why would the Vatican violate centuries and millennium of Holy Spirit inspired prayers? What influence did the Jews have over John Paul XXIII?

Consider this: he would openly share his opinion about gays and lesbians when asked, he would say "God loves you just the way you are." That upset some fundementalists. Now, is Mr. Rogers maybe "too tolerant" to go to Heaven?

Prior to Exodus god was unnamed. It wasn't until Moses went to the mountain that we learn of Yahweh. Some believe he was a volcano god. Some believe it was a volcano that the Israelites followed during exodus - cloud pillar duing the day and fire at night.

I'm going to refrain from giving my beliefs on this one. I am interested in what others have to say though.

What do you think?

In the first three books of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, over 140 prophesies were made about what would happen in the future. EVERY ONE of those prophesies has come true except for the final battle of Tarmon Gai'don, and events are unfolding toward that battle just as predicted.

The odds of all of those prophesies coming true just by "chance" are less than 1 in 10 to the 36th power!

There is also not a single error or contradiction in all of the books of the Wheel of Time. What are the chances of a single ordinary book being that perfect, much less eleven books?
