The most translated film in history has reached another milestone. The JESUS Film recently reached its 1,000th translation when the movie was translated into the Lanka Kol language, a people group numbering more than one million in India.
I see many, many Arabic-speaking people turning to Christ, accepting Him as Lord and Savior,” said Nizar Shaheen, host of Light for the Nations, a Christian program seen throughout the Muslim world. "It's happening all over the Arab world. It's happening in North Africa. It's happening in the Middle East. It's happening in the Gulf countries. It's happening in Europe and Canada and the United States-in the Arabic-speaking world. Everywhere, people are accepting Jesus."

"What's happening nowadays in the Muslim world has never happened before," said Father Zakaria Boutros, an Egyptian Coptic priest who is one of the foremost evangelists to the Muslim world.

"The proportion of the [American] population that can be classified as Christian has declined from 86% in 1990 to 77% in 2001." ARIS Study.

Polling data from the 2001 ARIS study, described below, indicate that:

* 14.1% do not follow any organized religion. This is an unusually rapid increase -- almost a doubling -- from only 8% in 1990. There are more Americans who say they are not affiliated with any organized religion than there are Episcopalians, Methodists, and Lutherans taken together.

It is simple law of mind . like a pendulum . it goes to one side and when it reaches to extreme it has to return to other extreme

Basically all Ism,, are collective beliefs of particular group in the space and time on earth.. ... Hinduism.. Jainism, Buddhism.. Mohammadanism, Judaism, Communism, Capitalism..

All ism have a momentum to bring people to gather and generate force.. but people gather outside , and Religioun or spirituality has nothing to do with external gatherings. unless it is backed by internal experiences and ultimate realization that All are One and One is All...

when previous and old ISMs are fading, new ISMs take over , that is what Atheism is Growing.. youth is questioning the old beliefs , they want some real experience and when they do not find any Life in those ISMs he has been with since childhood, he revolts...

Then he thinks why believe in any ISM. and starts believing in disbelief, starts believing in NoGod.

thus it happens the growth of Atheism all over the World.

The world looks nice through rose-colored glasses, doesn't it? For each person you have turning to Christ, there are more turning away...either to other religions or to atheism. For each translation of the last Jesus film (you could have been more specific) there are books on the best selling list written by atheist authors. Your information is biased and close-minded and you need to look beyond your Christian contacts to see reality.

atheist

The Atheist Bible, it could be said, has but one word: "THINK." - Emmett Fields

The only thing worse then Christianity is radical Islam. So convert away. Maybe the world will get lucky and the two sides will actually wipe each other out for good and the world can move on from 2,000 years of indentured servitude.

So the guy who runs the program says it's growing - what would you expect him to say? Sure, some will buy into the fairy tale, mostly the poor without any other hope, that's the ways groups grow - appeal to people without hope. They will buy into anything out of desperation.

Bush says he making progress in Iraq too and I don't believe him either

I hope that more and more people turn away from religion; because my greatest fear is a Theocracy world. I am confident that you and many people like you hope and "pray" that a Theocracy world becomes a reality.
I will not let that happen, and I am confident that other Atheists will also do what they can to stop that from happening.

Well, while people are converting to Christianity, others are finding the truth and leaving the faith everyday! Atheism is growing as the number of educated people/scholars/free thinkers grow...it is not as taboo as it once was to question the validity of God...

(I am not assuming that Christians cannot be scholars or free thinkers- just making a generalization)

By the percentage of atheists increasing.

None of your claims has anything to do with that. Would you like to show some statistics to support your claims?

Please, just give up. You're only making both americans and christians seem phenomenally... unintelligent.
