Let's say you have a child and by the time that child reaches a certain age, he decides you're not his father and you didn't create him. How would you feel?

I would think this child is rebelling against me because he has no other to blame his issues on!

I'd be puzzled as to where he got that crazy idea, and I would ask him as much. Is it just to spite me, or that he doesn't trust his mother, or what.

I'd offer to take a DNA test, if that's what it would take to convince him.

But I certainly wouldn't go hide and sulk about it; or threaten to roast him in the oven for being cheeky.

I would feel very disappointed in myself for maybe not completing his needs but mad that after all I would've done for him he would treat me like this. I would try to get him to understand that I am his real father and just always be there for him i guess.

All children go through a stage where they think their parents are weird and they must have been adopted. If you make a big deal about it then it will become a big deal. I would just let it go.

I'd cast that little bastard straight to Hell to burn for all eternity!!!

Hmmm, I could have fun with such power!!!

You religious types are lucky god doesn't exist... because if he did... and I were him.... I would send Mars on a collision course with Earth and sit back and watch the fun. Oh yeah, I'd make Yahweh look like a sissy!

I would feel very sad but I would know that my child has his own path to follow and eventually would come back to me in his own time.

Thats what DNA tests are for, then after I prove him wrong I would have to throw him in a fiery pit for the rest of eternity...

I sure as hell would not condemn my child to an eternity in a lake of fire for denying me or for being gay. The bible is ludicrous!!!

Would you do that? You and I are not even perfect supreme beings and we have more class than that.

He's able to see me, touch me, smell me, and hear me everyday... or let's say I won't let myself be seen at all?

i wouldn't blame him if he decides not to believe i'm his dad if i don't show myself to him, not even for a second.

I would think I had done a crappy job of communicating with the child and do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to be clear, consistent, and loving toward that child.

I think human dads are better at this than any God that has ever been described.
