Okay this is sort of a difficult question. I mean yes those are great victories for the christians of the world, but I don't know how much effort we christians are actually putting in. I mean we do "okay" (we could still do better) at sharing the gospel in the United States, but what about other countries or the ten forty window. World evangelism statistics: Of the 55 least evangelized countries, 97% of their population lives within the Ten Forty Window.
Unless something changes soon, most of these unreached people will never hear the Gospel. Why? Well, Bryant Myers of World Vision has estimated that only about one and a quarter percent ( 1.25% )of Christian mission giving is going to missions work in the 10/40 Window. Open evangelism is difficult and even impossible because of governmental restrictions in many 10/40 Window countries.
Missions statistics from the places of the 10/40 Window:
Center of population:Two-thirds of the world's population -- more than 3.2 billion people -- live in the 10/40 Window.
Unreached and unevangelized: 95% of the people living in the 10/40 Window are unevangelized. Many have never heard the Gospel message even once. There are either no Christians or not enough of a Christian movement in many cultures of the 10/40 Window to carry out vibrant near-neighbor evangelism. If those groups are to be evangelized, believers will need to leave their own culture to enter another where they will seek to plant the gospel. Such cross-cultural evangelism is required because there are people groups with no church movements that are understandable or relevant to them.
Good news: There's a difference between unreached and unreachable. In 1989 there were only four known Christians living in Mongolia. That country now has an estimated 10,000 indigenous believers. Also, Christian television programming can now be received in many closed 10/40 Window nations.
Poverty: Eighty-five percent of those living in the 10/40 window are the poorest of the world's poor.
Good news: Christians delivered more than $1 million worth of food to just one 10/40 Window refugee camp in a recent year. In one North African country that is hostile to the Gospel, abundant rain fell after an Easter service. A local news channel reported, "Christians have brought rain to the desert."
World religions: Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism are centered within the 10/40 Window.
Least evangelized cities: Half of the world's least evangelized cities are in this window.
Statistical data on unreached people groups:
The statistics of the numbers of non-Christians can be staggering [ fate of the unevangelized? ]
865 million unreached Muslims or Islamic followers in 3330 cultural sub-groupings
550 million unreached Hindus in 1660 cultural sub-groups
150 million unreached Chinese in 830 groups
275 million unreached Buddhists in 900 groups
2550 unreached tribal groups (which are mainly animistic) with a total population of 140 million
Forming a smaller -- though important -- unreached group are the 17 million Jews scattered across 134 countries
Good news: Missions researcher David Barrett says the country with the most rapid Christian expansion ever is China where there are 10,000 new Christian converts every day.
Bible translation availability
At least some part of Scripture has been translated into 2,212 of the world's 6,500 languages
366 languages have the entire Bible
928 other languages have the New Testament
Individual books (such as the Gospel of John) are available in 918 additional languages
80 percent of the world's people have access to at least some portion of the Bible in a language they can understand.
ALSO, I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD USE THE TERM "THROW IN THE WHITE FLAG" BECAUSE WE ARE NOT TRYING TO GET THEM TO SURRENDER THEIR BELIEFS, WE ARE TRYING TO SHOW THEM THE LOVE THAT JESUS HAS FOR THEM SO THE CAN BE APART OF US THAT WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN HEAVEN WITH THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that answers your question!

I don't understand why anybody who just happens to not believe in something, gives a damn about the symbols embraced and used by those who do. I'm not "into religion" at all, myself, but it sure doesn't bother me any if people want Nativity Displays at Christmas, and that sort of thing.
I think we have to "keep it down to a roar" though. It would be ridiculous to just give total freedom to be erecting gigantic crosses all over the city. After all, this is a Multi-denominational Society and if one particular one is allowed to fill any given area with an endless number of symbols of its particular beliefs, why should not all the others have that same right too?
I don't believe the majority of objections come from "anti-God" people, but simply from people who think it is over the top when religious extremists are not content to keep their rituals to themselves, but want to manifest them permanently in public places in the form of fifty feet high statuary and other symbols of their personal beliefs. Why would they want to do that? There IS only one reason..... to try and lure, attract, cajole, psychologically influence others to join their ranks, and to better manifest a superiority over any and all other belief systems. If Society doesn't exercise some rational boundaries on this behaviour, the end result will eventually be an all out contest among religious groups to outdo one another with the biggest cross, or giant menorah, or prayer tower or whatever.. .... all of which would be ridiculous.
I happily live in a place where different denominations of people co-exist very well, and it seems to work that way because no one particular group is attempting to shove its religious principles down the throats of those who belong to a different one. Good taste, common sense, and just old fashioned respect for others, prevails.

There will always be atheists until a religion arises that makes sense from one end to the other. I believe in God and Spirit, but from what I've seen, there is wheat and chaff in every religion on earth at this time. Some of them go to war in the name of God. Some of the execute wrongdoers in the name of God. Some fly planes into buildings, blow themselves up and declare war on others. Some allow vanity and getting rich, like Jim Bakker and the infamous Rev Ike and his 'greenpower". And those are just the glaring flaws. When a religion arises that will appeal to thinking people, then there might be talk of a white flag.

Wow! bet you're disappointed at the answers your getting. I certainly hope so. The trouble with you small minded twits is you don't live in the real world. You have you're head so far up your a r s e. Do you think, your religion is the only one there is? There is so much sickness in your country, what with the TV preachers who are making so much money out of idiots like you. Religion has always been, in my opinion, the cause of all wars. Oh yeah, and there's also a great deal of money to be made in war. The two go together. And all the innocents are made to suffer. Get real dopey.

Actually statistics prove that Atheism/agnosticism are on the rise in the western world. America has gone from 8% non-believers to 12% and in Europe there are nations that are up to 50% or higher.
Islam is the fastest growing religion with hinduism and buddhism coming in at second and third.
In fact across the globe, christianity is the only movement that is not only losing steam but is shrinking.
Try again!

There are also more agnostics and athiests every day as well. From your side you see what you want to of it, b/c it is apparently what you surround yourself with. Faith is a necessity for survival, every human needs faith in something for motivation, some choose a God, although you can not believe in Jesus and still be all about a God, such as Jewish. So Anti-God covers allot more than just a christian revolution. Every religion has a "god": buddhists, hinduists, Islam etc.

I think most of the people on here you call "anti-God" would fit better with this:
"It's not God I have a problem with. It's his fan club I can't stand." I know this applies to me.
Besides, I believe in God; I just think Christianity is wrong, and I don't see all that many people "turning to Jesus Christ". More people in this country are becoming Buddhists, Muslims, Wiccans, and other faiths. These religions are fast-growing in this country, faster than Christianity is. Fact is, there was something on NBC News last night about the lowering number of men who are no longer attending church services and how Christian churchers are growing concerned about it.

Will God really go away from your personal daily existence because there are no Christmas displays on public property or crosses on Mount Soledad and ten commandment monuments. Is your belief so very fragile that you need Government displays to validate it?
Do your worship the God or do you worship the physical monuments and displays? Isn't that idolatry? Think about it.

Studies show that we Atheists are actually a growing trend. I dont think were gonna give up anytime soon. People dont look to God for help. The main reason people look to God is out of fear of going to hell. If there was no hell or heaven in the aspects of Christianity it would crumble. Sorry I have no problem with Christians but little by little Atheism is winning.

This is the USA and you should be able to believe in what religion that you want to believe in and not have anyone try to change you because they think their religion is better. It is some where in the Constitution that says there is freedom of religion and it dose not say anywhere that it is Christianity or any other religion. They NEED to make it LAW that any religion should be observed ONLY at home or in their respective places and NO WHERE ELSE! EVERYONE SHOULD KEEP THEIR RELIGIOUS VIEWS TO THEMSELVES
