Yes. Hell is not so much a place, but a condition of the soul in which the soul is forever separated from God.

Yes I believe that hell is eternal separation from God, left only for those who at the end of life on earth refuse to accept God as their Savior. The worst part about hell is separation from God and the constant reminder that a person could have chosen eternal life with God.

Yes it is. If you have chosen to forsake God, than you reap the consequences of that choice, which is eternal death, eternal separation from God.

Do you have other questions about hell? Did you know that hell is not taking place right now, nor is it burning forever? Would you like to know what the Bible really teaches about hell? Check out the website I've listed in my sources...it will show you what the Bible has to say about hell.

Sorry but there is no such place as hell. Hell is what you feel when you separate yourself from Gods given light of love and you will remain in that hell until you have learned his gift is the only way to true happiness. God will always, no matter what you have done, wait with his arms wide open. And for those who endure hell from earth with love in their heart shall be glorified in heaven. There are some who enjoy hell , love is too painful for them. These are pitied by God and shall parish forever.

Yes again. There is a physical death and a spiritual death. The physical death is the separation of our spirits from our bodies. They reunite in the resurrection. The separation of our spirits from God is the spiritual death. While in mortality we live in a state of spiritual death because we are separated from God. We can commune with Him through prayer and revelation from the Holy Ghost and bring ourselves closer to Him and feel a portion of His spirit to comfort and guide us. When we die and are resurrected, we go before Him to be judged of our actions, thoughts and our hearts. If we are found wanting, then we are separated from God a second time, known as the second death and the remorse, sorrow, misery and yes torment that we feel at being convicted of our unworthiness will be a hell to us. That is why we are constantly advised to recognize our errors, repent, be baptized and live a faithful life unto the end. What we want to hear at that judgment bar is "well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter into the rest of your Lord".
May this be the case for all of us. Amen

Yes - eternally separate from God...although His presence is everywhere and I think those separated from Him for eternity will be aware of God's presence - now that's a hard pill to swallow!

If you look around you, you will notice that you are separate from God, and always have been. Does that make this life Hell?

That is certainly one aspect of hell. However, the scriptures are full of illustrations regarding the nature of hell.
