I think that is awesome when someone prays for another,it doesn't matter there religion as long as they are praying to God on my behalf.

Well, I've never had a problem with that because intelligent people know that there is only one True God. If someone else where to pray to a false deity, i.e., Zeus or Rayos, or whatever, I would thank them and firmly remind them that I only pray and those who pray for me [or with me] only pray to Jehovah God, the only True God. I do not fashion myself of false gods and sorcery, witches, magic, or mythical garbage. This is a snare disguised by satan, so it just depends if someone is praying for me in the "right" way then it'd be just fine; if not, I can tell.

When saying on your behalf - I take it that the prayer is positive.

As long as I am not forced to take part in a prayer, I think the person/s doing this is/are sweet and has/ve a loving disposition.

If just we all could learn to have empathy for other people and their problems, it would be a different world.

I've always been an out-there pagan and used to wear a pentagram openly. When I worked in a bank, the nicest customers I had were a group of nuns from a local convent. They were always blessing me and I'd laugh and thank them, saying I need all the help I can get. From them, it was a sweet way of saying they liked me.

Grateful. A prayer is a prayer and God understands that. Offering to pray for another person is an extremely noble gesture, regardless of their faith.

Grateful. Just the fact they care enough about me to pray for me demonstrate Jesus's commandment to love one another. Why would I resent that?
God understands all languages and every ones needs.
God Bless!

as long as they pray to my god it doesn't matter what faith or religion they are, you would be surprised how many religions all pray to the same god . i respect them all. for example i have attended catholic services , i am not catholic but my husband's family is ,and do not share some of their believes i simply participate in what i am comfortable with and respectfully sit silently during what i am not comfortable participating in . it has never offended any of the church members and they always welcome me back

Obviously, someone who cares about me enough to pray to their god for me deserves at the very least my gratitude.
After all, do I have to believe in "their" god in order to accept their good will on my behalf?

i think it shows that person has faith in not only their God but also u and they care enough to do so. I dont believe it is a bad thing but it is unusual. Never had it happen to my knowledge. unless they are praying that you become a believer in their God then i would have a problem with it.

I feel grateful and bless that this person cares for me and would pray for me. Prayer is wonderful no matter what religion a person is.
