Here is the proof that he stored them in something called Lion House. Here is a nice link:)

Don't give me a thumbs down because I am not defending this guy. He obviously treated his wives like personal property. Shameful!

If I was a Mormon and had all of the wives I would never cram them together in something like that. It's like the house on Big Love. Huh?

Brigham Young had at least 51 wives so Latter Day Mormons would say that he was FLDS.

I don't intend to offend with this question. I'm just very curious as to what people think about this link that some say exists between religion and intelligence. I read up on this topic for my History of Psychology paper, for which my internet source was

Most researchers seem to think regilion and intellence, however you want to define that, don't possitively correlate. And I must say they make as compelling case as you could expect. But I want to know how people see this question from an personal point of view. Tell me what the tests and tables can't.

I am trying to find out what my set of beliefs are. I was raised in a household with absolutely no religion or sense of worship. I am curious though... it seems to me that in trying to find myself, i find that others are lost too. Are you the religion you are simply because your parents were before you? Do you think that if you were raised with a family of a different religion that you would be that religion today? With this being said, can you say with any credibility that one religion has a stronger case than any other? How can you prove yours versus another religion as being the "way"?

How does someone who has not been raised religious read the bible and believe it as truth? i don't mean this in as any insult, i'm just skeptical because i can't see the events that happen in the bible as facts. Help me believe that they are by giving me a reason to accept them!

I drive a large truck and see this all the time at red lights. Are they trying to expose themselves or is this a comfortable way to sit while driving? Is this where they like the air condition to blow? I see this so often, yet my girlfriend doesn't do it and she can't give me an answer as to why so many women i see throughout the day do this.

They were being followed everywhere by them... and always being heckled... and whenever someone was talking about Scientology stealing all their money or something likewise, the man would rock up and attack there credibility.. And what about the Fair game policy? Its part of the religion, yet they claim to not follow it anymore... doesn't that make them a cult?

I don't believe in the Mormon belief that Indians are Jewish because science has proven this to be wrong. But I do believe in the Mormon doctrine that everyman should have a harem!

Just look at this proof. Did you know that the Brigham Young that has a Mormon college named for him had 51 wives.

In my opinion Mormons are truly the gods of pimping:)

Has anybody seen the movie WarGames, and how at the end the Computer
realizes after simulating hundreds of tic-tac-toe games each resulting
in a draw, and then simulating hundreds of nuclear war scenarios all
ending in a draw it came to the conclusion that

"The only way to win is not to participate."

Thats what any debate between Facts and Faith come down to and it will
continue to be this way until there is a logical explanation for
everything, theists will continue to use Arguments from Ignorance,
Pascal's Wager and maintain a God of the Gaps, well in my opinion at
least.

Many times I have seen a statement like this:

"Only the false churches claim to be the only true church."

If the scriptures say there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism... does this not imply that there should only be one true faith (and that all others are in error)? If only the false churches claim to be the only true church, then what do the "true" churches claim? Do they claim that everyone is right, even though everyone's doctrine is different?

If a particular faith really was indeed THE true church, and was organized by God himself, I personally would EXPECT it to claim to be the only true church. I would expect God's true church to be bold, and to take such a stand. To say that any church is true, so long as it is focused on Jesus Christ, is in my opinion a very weak position to take.

What are your thoughts?

Christians were from various nationality and beliefs. Some people find my question improper because many Jews became Christians. I don’t find it strange, it is perfect and right. Christianity is not a religion, the word Christian means (Christ’s follower).
