Well, on that second part, I believe that his daughters got him seriously drunk and then had sex with him to get themselves pregnant. They for some reason, thought they were the only people left on earth and thought they alone had to continue humanity. He didn't start that, it was their choice and they basically came as close as a woman can get to raping a man in that way.

The part where Lot offers his daughters to the angry mob is distrubing. That is something that is hard to understand. My husband and I talked about it, and we wondered if Lot had spent so much time in that city that he had become immoral.

The sad thing is that the men only wanted other men and pushed the daughters aside. Which is good for them but rather said that it had come to that. I don't understand, from reading just that passage, how some can claim that Sodom wasn't about homosexuality. Or that these passages aren't really refering to homosexuality as we know it.

When the demons who are obcessed with Sex not only with women but also with men. completely take over a nation the whole nation becomes corrupt. That is why it isn't a naturally occurring event. It is demonistic and unnatural as the scripture says. It also says that Lot's daughters had husbands to be. He was their father in law. I feel he knew if he was to offer the women it might shock them to their senses. to realize what they were doing was wrong. Also those men and their familys would come to the aid of the women. Which supriseingly didn't happen. So that proved what a corrupt society it was.

then when they ran away to the mountains to hide in caves the cities around them were being destroyed and they had every reason to believe they were the only humans left alive.
The only way to insure that humanity would continue was if the girls got pregnant and it just so happens that the father was the only male available to make that happen.
that is where most of the Arabians came from.

Lot offered his daughters to the angry mob but they did not take them, and Lot did not have sex with them they had sex with him. They made him drunk and he did not know that they did that; he was unconcious.
