State your answer. I strongly believe in the words of the bible and what reason it gives for the Earth coming to an end. As a matter of fact, this end, supposedly a "Rain of Fire." Some people believe this is a nuclear war of some kind. I believe it is a comet that is actually inbound to Earth. It may be scary, but it's proven by actual science research. The comet will predictably kill 2/3 of human population, and so a christian article says it will. The bible proclaims 7 angels sounding horns. The comet crashing to Earth contains 7 events that will destroy human life:

1) Collision
2) Coastal Floods
3) Ash rain
4) Rain of heated comet debris
5) Heat Wave
6) Extreme Freeze
7) Death of plants and other animals for food

This, I believe, is what God, and the Bible, mean by the death of Earth. If you are Athiest or you are Agnostic about Revelations, please do not state your opinion.

*Note: Some theists.

Dawkins: "Believing is not something you can decide to do as a matter of policy. [...] I can decide to go to church and I can decide to recite the Nicene Creed, and I can decide to swear on a stack of bibles that I believe every word inside them. But none of that can make me actually believe it if I don't. Pascal's wager could only ever be an argument for feigning belief in God."

Anyone have suggestions for learning more about witchcraft practices in the Greek and Roman cultures? What about the Druidic period in Brittain?

Please everyone without becoming hostile, can you BIBLICALLY give me an argument for and against the "trinity". I know that the word trinity is not in the Bible. I also would like to not see John 1:1 only because I have looked this up extensively and have found it interpreted as~~ the word was A god. In 5 or 6 different (non Jehovahs Witnesses) opinions. If you have old testament scripture to support or deny it that would be awesome! Thank you all!

I am a heterosexual mom, but I am curious as to why this gets a lot of attention. I never considered announcing to anyone "hey I'm hetero" so why is it important for "homosexuals" to announce it?

I know some people spout "hey I am a Christian" or "hey I am eco-friendly" or toot their own horn is some other fashion, but what is the point?

Is it to get attention? [I don't mean to offend]
Is it to open a dialogue?
Is it merely a "heads up"?

I'm teaching a summer day program for first graders, and I have two Koreans in my class. They get a kick out of my two Korean phrases: Anyansayo and Nabi, so I thought I'd try a few others.

How do you day:

Good morning, students!

Excellent work today.

We're going to do something really fun today.

Wow!

Thanks so much! :)

So when Christians tell us we can choose to believe like they do, are they not in fact lying? My assertion is that they have got to be pathologically dishonest or in very deep denial about what they REALLY believe.

To show the respect due to God's Holy Word what would be the proper way to dispose of a very, very, very worn Bible!
I have an old pocket Bible I have carried for years and don't really want to get rid of but it is literally falling apart!
AND THERE'S NO WAY IT'S GONNA HIT THE TRASH!

My fellow christians, on this section, it seems like the atheists are always on your back, but, let God give you a strong heart and not worry about what they say. Now atheists, I've got nothing against you, but your science will never prove to me there is no God, but believe what you wanna believe, Its your choice, just don't force it on me, and I won't force it on you.

I truely thought that part of the homosexual thing was that it removes that instinct to create a family. Is it more so just to try it out, no real emotional want or instinct. Or does it have to do with feeling legitiment as a long term couple?

My study has involved books and those with more experience, I am a rookie. During casting of a recent spell, the "intent" was specific and in conjunction with the correct moon phase, and on the best possible day. How often should a spell be repeated? (my preferance is candle magick). However, the mecury in retrograde was not factored into the equation and this was done around 6/14/07. One person said repeating the spell might be necessary. Another said to trust in it and wait. Any insight is appreciated.

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit."

It seems pretty clear to me.
