I'm teaching a summer day program for first graders, and I have two Koreans in my class. They get a kick out of my two Korean phrases: Anyansayo and Nabi, so I thought I'd try a few others.

How do you day:

Good morning, students!

Excellent work today.

We're going to do something really fun today.

Wow!

Thanks so much! :)

I'm not Korean, but I put in two tours there--1962 and 1975. I learned a smidgen of the language, which isn't much. Let us hope a bonafide Korean-speaking poster will come on board.

"How are you?" Onya-hoshi-mika

"Thanks so much!" Ko-mop-sum-nida

I'm afraid to try any more than this.
