Another one I’ve seen is that if an archeologist finds a piece of pottery in the ground and determines that it’s thousands of years old then this somehow proves that the universe has a creator and of course that creator is the Christian god because all other gods are just plain ridiculous. I just don’t get. All this proves to me is that a thousand years ago, some guy made a piece of pottery. End of story. Am I missing something?

So many women I know, like me cause I am so "intelligent". Honestly I read a lot and talk a lot in lectures. I'd much rather have a girl who is more intelligent then me, then the other way around. Maybe I'm being silly, maybe I should get over it and go with it.

How are we to believe the believers when we don't believe ourselves? Why can I not kill God within me? Why does He go on living in a painful, humiliating way? I want God to put out His hand, show His face, and speak to me but He is silent. I cry to Him in the dark but there seems to be no one there. Perhaps there is no one there, then life is a senseless terror. We must make an idol of our fear and call it God.

For me, I'd make all of them more tolerant.
Not accepting, they can believe whatever they want. Just more tolerant in allowing others to live and do the same.
