Disabled people are welcome in church. If the church doesn't welcome and treat the disabled as good as everyone else, they are not doing what they should.

For believers, there is no substitute for attending church. Besides something that pleases God, it is necessary for a believer’s spiritual well-being.
(1) It is an Expression of our Love for God. (Matt. 10:32-33), (Psa. 22:22), (Psa. 134:2), (Rev. 4:11)
(2) It builds up our Spiritual Strength. (Eph. 6:10-18), (Rom. 10:17).
(3) It brings a special visitation of the Lord’s Presence. (Psa. 22:3), (Matt. 18:20).
(4) It provides fellowship with other Christians. (Matt. 6:15), (1 John 2:9-10), (1 John 1:7
(5) It is an act of obedience to God. (Heb. 10:24-26), (James 4:17).
(6) It provides accountability to spiritual leadership. (Heb. 13:17), (1 Thes. 5:12)
(7) It combines our spiritual strength in prayer. (Matt. 18:19), (Lev. 26:8).
(8) It honors the Lord’s Day. (Ex. 20:8), (Gal. 3:10-11, Col. 2:16), (Acts 20:7, 1 Cor. 16:2), (Rev. 1:10), (Gal. 5:18, Rom. 13:8-10)
As far as a disabled person, they should be welcomed and aided by the congregation. I would place the disabled in the same category as Children (not intending insult) Jesus said, in Luke 18:15-17
15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Remember the, blind, crippled, Deaf and mute that Jesus healed.

I don't know what church Johnny Z. is talking about, but I know that Jesus loves ALL of us, and we are ALL broken in one way or another, some of our disabilities just aren't as obvious as others' If you want to go to church, then start searching for a home church and you will find one... BUT if for some reason you go to a church that doesn't show you love, move on to another one. Don't judge God by other christians, not everyone who claims to know Jesus really knows him... let the Lord guide you and he will lead you to the right church he has in mind for you. God bless you and your search

That sounds a little anti the bible to say that disabled people would not be welcome in a church. Isn't a church supposed to be there for everyone, especially the disabled. I'm not talking about the revivalist who claim that they can heal all the sick. But, it seems to me that there isn't even a question about this one.

Anybody can go to church. If you are disabled and you want to come, please call the church of your choice, and have someone volunteer to bring you.
We have a 91 year old lady who can't drive anymore and she's in church every Sunday because she gets a ride. We have places for wheelchairs too. And for the deaf, a sign language interpreter. You are always welcomed in the house of God.

Church is a generic term. There are so many different kinds of churches. I'm sure most welcome the disabled though. Is this an honest question, or for shock value?

There are no restrictions for the disabled to attend church services of their choosing. Wheelchair ramps and handicap parking are readily available for each church in my religion--even in the holy Temples of the Lord.
To forbid the disabled to attend church, whether they are physically or mentally impaired, is an injustice to them and against God.

God welcomes everyone into His house. There is a disabled Christian lady named Joni Erikson Tada who once wrestled with that very question. You see, back in the Old Testament days, God set up very strict physical requirements for priests. She took this as God not wanting her. It wasn't until later that she realized that while God did set up those requirements, it did not apply to the community as a whole, just ancient priests.

It is not the building that is the church, we as Christians are the church. Disabled people are of coarse welcomed into the building and into the family, and if they are not then that "chruch" is no church of God.

When I wanted to attend the Presbyterian church of Garfield, they bought a ramp so I could enter the church.
Churches love to accommodate us.
Of course, if you can't go to church, its okay because our bodies are the living temples of God.
God Bless
