I am sorry to tell you that,Wasp,bird, fish, horse,and even angel have no soul. Human is the only species on this planet that has a soul. I do hope I helped you. :):):) And you are correct that it can not be verified by science. That dose not mean it is not a fact. Peace and love be with you:):):)

well, um, according to the Bible I would suggest that man has been created above the animals, they do not make decisions based on morals, rights and wrongs, and such so, I would say no they do not have souls
