It isn't until the advent of the Abrahamic religions. Up until that time, the gods and goddesses either ruled equally, or were often female oriented. its called "the sacred feminine". Christianity has it too, only they relegated the women to a subserviant state.
My personal thought is that the men were tired of always coming second in religion until that time, so they created a religion that lowered a womans power until it was virtually nothing.
The world is coming back around again. Only this time the emphasis is on equality of all, no matter who they may be. Some people that have been in power for a long time, don't like it. And they're fighting it tooth and nail with everything they have because they don't want to lose their power.
But its inevitable. Nothing lasts forever.

The historical record of humanity is anti-woman, for the most part. Why is that? Good question.

The answer remains undetermined; however, there may be a correlation between how information is presented and how powerful women are in society. I don't buy it, but it's interesting.

each of the religions have been created by potential of guys. and those men could have been sexists. otherwise why could they say that their is in basic terms one God and it extremely is a guy! Why does not they say there is "God and Mrs.God and that that they had a newborn observed as Jesus Christ God Jr". that could desire to have made extra sense

What bible are you reading from? Women played a major role in Jesus' day, the beginning of the church, and we are still today playing a major role. .

Because it was chauvanistic men who wrote the historical record.
A woman is good enough to get stoned to death, but not good enough to save your soul. :)

It's not, it's your understanding, or rather lack of understanding. If you care to state why you think this, you may get some interesting answers.
