Hello,

I, everyone's favourite ignorant Canadian, would like to learn about the Islamic position on the Holocaust.

Six million Jewish people died, along with approximately four million people from other minorities (homosexuals, people with disabilities, Africans etc.)

I was wondering if Muslims really do still hate Jews, and if they deny the holocaust.

When I asked this question on another forum, they just said "you goddamn racist" and "you stupid fundie!"

I was just asking... Like I am now.

Before you start calling me racist, I'd like you to look at this:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=445979&in_page_id=1770

If Muslim beliefs don't involve denial, why are we starting to forget the sacrifice 14 million allied soldiers made to STOP things like this, just to appease a minority in Britain?

I'm sorry if you think I'm being a "racist" or a "goddamned christian fundie!", but I'm just wondering.

Don't be too angry :-(

I am just saying many Christians on here have told me I am not going to heaven now I epecially do not feel like being a Christian. What does it do for all of you that are like that? Do you feel better telling people they are not going to Heaven? Does it make you happy? Even Jesus told you to love your neighbor not hate them and send rude comments to them the only reason I would even believe in him now is because the Bible speaks of him like that not as a person that is going to be rude to me.

I mean, we sin...ALOT! Everyday we sin countless times. We might even blasphemise by thking the Lords Name in vain.
But, we are forgiven!
Doesnt that make you feel so special that Jesus died for us??
Also, how can we NOT forgive others after Jesus's death for us? Its insane for us not to! Thats why I always forgive, even if its hard, I work on it.
But I love God, I think he's awesome!!!!

What about you?

How old were you when you became whatever religion (or lack of religion) you are? Have you tried other religions? Why is your current one the one for you?

I'm Jewish by heritage, was raised Christian, converted to Judaism, then to Nordic Paganism, then to Agnosticism, and I might be going back to Christianity soon- liberal, messianic judaism (Like Jews for Jesus, basically.) So, what's your story?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I read on here that one of the names Satan is referred to is "the Bright and Morning Star". However, in Rev Ch. 22, we find this verse:

(Rev 22:16 KJV) "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star."

Can someone please explain the discrepancy? It seems clear that Jesus is referring to himself in this verse.

Why would St. Luke devote so much of his Gospel to the Annunciation, and the Nativity if Mary wasn't important?
In those days, the Mother of the King is the Queen. Mary is the Mother of Jesus, and as such she will be called blessed for all generations.

Do you believe that there exists a spiritual realm, apart from the physical realm in which we usually live & interract?Energy is everything. could it be possible that what we can perceive with our senses is related to energy of a particular type or level, and that there could exist a spiritual realm of a different energy type or level that is, to a large extent, beyond that which we can perceive with our senses? In other words, could it be possible that energy of one particular nature gives rise to the physical realm, which we can perceive, but energy of another nature gives rise to a spiritual realm that exists and interracts with the physical realm, but in ways that we largely cannot perceive?Consider the fact that the human ear can detect sound within a particular frequency range, & a dog's ear can detect sound within that frequency range & higher. Dogs can hear high energy sound waves that we can't. Could a similar concept apply to our inability to detect a possible spiritual realm?

There are over 100 sects of Christianity. Most of these sects disagree on one thing or another. One of the few things that all the sects have in common, is that they all agree that the Bible was, in some way, inspired by God.

But if it was, then why are there so many sects?

Why should a text that a perfect, inerrant diety inspired be so vague, that there are so many opinions on basic ideas of scripture?

could have sent more than one messenger? And that each messenger was sent to give a special message, for that specific group of people. If Religious leaders could agree on this, do you think there would be less war in the world? I believe God had many messengers, each with a specific task to accomplish.

Is She was born without Original Sin, then why did she have to go through the "pains of child birth"?

Because the "pain of child birth" was one of our punishments of Original Sin for Adam and Eve having eaten the forbidden fruit.

But Mary was born without Original Sin so why did she have to suffer?

The Bible calls Mary “full of grace” (Luke1:26). The Immaculate Conception means that Mary was preserved from original sin and redeemed by God’s grace from the moment of her conception. Unlike Jesus who was miraculously conceived without a human father, Mary was conceived in the normal way by her parents.

The official teaching of the Church says: “The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all original sin.”
