All Christians should be Evangelical Christians. The Bible is consistent in instructing us to be witnesses of the good news (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 16:1-4; 1 Peter 3:15). There is no better news than Jesus! There is no higher calling than to be an evangelist. It is our contention that holding to the fundamentals of the Bible will result in certain worldview, and yes, political beliefs. However, there is nothing about being an Evangelical that demands a certain political party or affiliation. An Evangelical Christian is called to share the good news, to preach God's Word, and to set an example of purity and integrity. If these callings require political action, so be it. At the same time, Evangelical Christians should not be side-tracked into abandoning our highest calling.

It is part of the teaching of the truth about man's spiritual condition with God. It sounds evil but it is necessary at times. It is no different than a doctor who is trained in the study of the human body and healing it. Telling a patient they are seriously ill even if the patient doesn't believe him or not.
The truth is the truth and is here to hurt but also to bring healing. My late wife fought cancer through cheomotherapy. It is a painful way to fight it. But the disease and the health of the body comes from the same source. The cancer attacks the bone marrow that gives new blood. But the chemotheraphy kills that supply so that the cancer can be destroyed.
It is a physical warfare that went on in her body. So it is with the spiritual war. Sometimes people say rude things. But yet it is the truth.
If you want to know the truth, sometimes then you must bear the pain. Acceptance of the truth will set you free.

Many Christians are so crazy about their religion that they forget the true message of Christ, the message is about love, not making people feel bad for what they believe. Many of them do not realize that you attract more bees with honey rather than vinegar. Some are only taught that all they need to do is convert convert convert, and they don't think about the effect that they have on people. I hate to say it like this, but most Christians that I know are probably more likely to go to hell than you are because they are not living christian-like themselves. I am a Christian and do not share the same beliefs as many of the other ones that I know, sometimes I don't get along with them, because I believe in being acceptable of others. On behalf of my religion I would like to apologize for the way that you have been treated and will be treated in the future, because they also forget that they are human and in no way, shape, or form perfect. I hope this helps.

There are many reasons to turn from your sin and trust in Jesus. Some people believe because they don't want to go to (not Heaven). Others believe for other reasons. People are just different.

I don't know about where others are getting their stuff at but my bible says, "Judge not, lest you be judged." We are not to judge others as to if they are going to Heaven or Hell as we do not have all the facts and do not know the true heart as God does. The books will be opened one day and that is when we will be given judgment rights but it will be to judge to see that God was just in what was done about those that did not make it. Anyone that tells you that you are going to Hell here and now is not following what the bible really says so don't let it get to you. They are being like Satan and following him being self righteous. They just do not know of what they speak.

I know what you mean. And I always thought you were supposed to practice Christianity for the love of Jesus Christ and God, not for the fear of any punishment you might receive.

Revelation 20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
I didn't type this to be rude to you. This is just something in the bible that we all should ponder.
It makes me want to be sure and get my name in that book of life, doesn't it yours?

Haven't you heard they tell us that because they love us. It's for our own good.
