I, everyone's favourite ignorant Canadian, would like to learn about the Islamic position on the Holocaust.

Six million Jewish people died, along with approximately four million people from other minorities (homosexuals, people with disabilities, Africans etc.)

I was wondering if Muslims really do still hate Jews, and if they deny the holocaust.

When I asked this question on another forum, they just said "you goddamn racist" and "you stupid fundie!"

I was just asking... Like I am now.

Most Muslims (except Ahmadinejad, who never represents majority of Muslims) believe in Holocaust as much as we believe the atrocities done in Iraq by the US. Muslims don't hate Jews, but we just hate Zionism as the cause of sufferings of millions of our Palestinian brothers & sisters. The problem is some Muslims equate Zionism and Judaism. Why Muslims are punished for massacre of Jews which was done by Nazi Germans (who claimed to be Christians)? If the Europeans really feel guilty to the Jews, they (esp the Germans) who should give parts of their land for Israel's creation.

Somebody will give an excuse that the current Israel is the historical homeland of the Jews, thus their rights to stay on the land and expel the Arabs since there was Jewish kingdom that existed (note the past tense) centuries ago. Based on the same logic, should European descendants in America be expelled back to Europe? The land (incl those of US) should be given back to previously sovereign native Indian kingdoms and tribes, whose lands were stolen from them centuries ago.

The muslims who responded are in error and confused. The holocaust DID happen and on an imaginable scale.. I have been to see Auschwitz in Poland and seen for myself the countless cases of pathetic belongings and the gas chambers. To say that this was justified because of the perceived crimes of the then non-existent state of Israel is a ridiculous fallacy. To diminish its appalling significance is to diminish all humanity.

It's the Jews who hated (notice the past tense) those times when Muhammad was claimed to be the last prophet (as he was an Arab and not Jews, like other prophet even though they, too, were Islam). good question. u r the first of many who are asking questions similar to this topic. who ever told u or gave u the idea that muslims hate jews are wrong. in islam jews along with christians are people of the book. we do not hate jews. we just hate particular Jews. the ones that declare that there is a state called israel and defend it. they kicked out the palestinians and kill them everyday, but u never hear that on the media today. i know the holocaust is real, i just think it is over exaggerated. i think it is impossible to kill that many people. the muslims in the middle east are facing there own holocaust thanks to the "israelis" and u.s gov't. the jews in the middle east are repeating what happened to them decades ago.
