i mean shucks, 'tri' does after all mean 3....

I agree that it means three divine beings in one,

but the three beings becoming one trinity, represents a triangle. A triangle is the strongest support in the world.

It also represents the concept of gestalt where the sum becomes greater than the parts.

the lie of the trinity is probably one of Satan's greatest accomplishments since the deception of Adam and Eve.
I think it is the most distasteful doctrine ever.
Fortunately, the word nor the explicit doctrine are anywhere to be found in the Bible.
I have enjoyed the squirming of espoused trinitarians, as they try and defend a belief they place so much importance on, of which the key word/term does not even exist anywhere in scripture.

Trinity means Tri (three) and union. Therefore, three beings that are One GOd.

Unity" means being one, and "trinity" means three-fold or three in one.

Duh! That's the origin of the name! The whole point is that the Trinity is THREE Divine Beings in one Divine Person.
