Genesis mentions that Adam and his family farmed, cultivated land, domesticated animals, used musical instruments, etc. which didn't come around until 10,000-7,000 B.C. I think that Adam's family lived during the late paleolithic stage amongst other people on earth. I think that Adam and Eve were the first of "God's people", because they had a SOUL.

I have heard it explained by scholars that while Cain and Abel were Adam and Eve's first two offspring, they were not their ONLY offspring (even outside of Seth, the son they had to "replace" Abel). The event of Cain and Abel is recorded so dramatically in the Bible b/c it was the first murder. Apparently the other kids were not mentioned b/c everything was cooking along just fine until the point of the murder. (The murder, much like the Fall, was recorded as it was a major turning point in human history.) According to Genesis 5:5, Adam lived to be 930, which, assuming that Eve lived even a small portion of that time (I don't know that there is an account of how old she was when she died) would have left a lot of room for other offspring to have been born. There were obviously other areas already populated by the time of the murder, as Cain retreats to the land of Nod, east of Eden (Genesis 4:16). These areas are believed to have been populated by Adam and Eve's other offspring, as Eve was to "become the mother of all living things" (Genesis 3:20). When studying the Bible, it's important to remember that it is not a novel written sequentially, and it is necessary to look beyond isolated verses to link and piece together information to get a whole picture. In addition, keep in mind, it is not a recording of every single event that took place, but rather the highlights. Moses wrote the book of Genesis thousands of years after the time of Adam and Eve, as he was instructed by God; so probably God just gave him the big ideas to include!!

This is a question that has been discussed for ages, so I don't claim to be able to answer it with the "right" answer.
If you look at the beginning of Genesis 6 it seems possible that there were already other people groups on the earth. The old testament records mostly Jewish history and the creation of the Jewish race.
So it's possible that God did not stop with Adam when creating man. My point is that there are a number of other plausible, logical possibilities for how different races and people groups came to be. Just because the Bible doesn't address it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Some Christians for some reason think that only what's in the Bible is true. I believe the Bible is true, but that does not automatically make everything else false...
Sorry for the tangent, I'll stop typing now...

Adam and Eve were the first two humans on earth. Adam and Eve had children but only names Cain and Abel.
Cain reproduced this his wife. Genesis 4:17
Here is an example of Jesus' family:
Matt 13:55"Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? 56Aren't all his sisters with us?
Jesus' sisters are never named.

The Bible doesn't say who Cain's wife was, but but it says that Eve would be the mother of all the living Gen. 3:20, she had to be a relative because Adam and Eve had other sons and daugthers.

The notion that Adam and Eve only had 2 children is wrong.
The commandment to them was to (Gen. 1:28)
"And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. "
They had sons and daughters other than Cain and Abel. Let's read the proof, Gen. 5:4,
"...and the days of Adam after he begat Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters. "

Adam and Eve had more children. they also lived for approximately 900 years. They had many children and the children married and also lived along time producing many children. The closeness to God's creation did not produce deformity as it would today. Then after enough people inhabited the earth God then commanded to not allow same blood marriages. This is why we are all considered brothers and sisters.

Adam and Eve had many children. Jewish culture teaches that they had about 72. I'm sure that if they lived 930 years Eve would have been able to bear children for a long time. Cain would have married one of his sisters
you'll notice it says his wife, so trust me, it wasn't Eve

It doesn't matter so much back then because the laws of incest did not apply untill later. Then when people were living to be 8 - 900 years old what was a little drop in life expectancy. I think the next group only lived what 600 years? The farther we got from God and the original parents the more careful we had to be as far as that went.

Daughters are seldom mentioned in Biblical history. It is reasonable to assume Adam and Eve had daughters and they mated with their brothers. Hey it was before God established the rules, the 10 commandments and Leviticus came much later.
