This seems strange to me. I thought the bible teaches there is only one god. If what they say is true, then Satan and god are one and the same, or they are polytheists.

I heard a Jehova's witness tell my mother this about ten years ago.

When I get very depressed, as I am now, I tend to get VERY nostalgic. Is this why I feel inclined to become a Christian again? Because that's what I was when I was a kid?

Sorry but I get tired of that lame excuse of an answer when someone doesnt have an answer.
So can you tell me who is able to question god?
And why the hell cant I question god? Seriously what good reason is there that I can not question him/her/it? Speaking from a religious belief context tell me why I can not question God.
What idiot just takes everything at face value and just accepts it without questions raising...even just a little?

I like this guy (who'll be 'called' Z in this question).

I've known Z for nearly 1/2 my life (I'm 13 now; 14 in a few months). I've never really known him to like many girls, but nor have I known him to like ANY guys. I like him (Z) a lot. He's my best friend, and I'm not sure what it's like to love anyone outside your family, but if I did he'd be the one of them. Although we're great as friends, I'm not sure what we'd be like as a couple. He's always bettered me, as I the same for him. But taking it to that level (bf/bf) could complicate things. I feel as if maybe he had a girlfriend I'd be less obliged to like him the way I do. I also think that if he had a girlfriend I'd never have to worry about us going out. He's a great guy (really) and any girl would love him...I have soo many mixed feelings about the whole predicament, and so many things could change between our relationship since we're going to HighSchool for our first year once break is over; same HighSchool though.

Their popluation is still growing at a radical rate and they are depleting the Oceans of shark, sea turtle and abalone among other things at an alarming rate. I want to let them know that we will no longer provide commerce if this continues. Anyone have any ideas? Where do humans get this "breed at all costs" arrogant superiority from anyway? I am terrirfied, absolutely terrified that this plague of humanity will be all the life left on earth far too soon. What is the damned goal anyway?

Im a female, 16, and i tend to look at other girls and i think there hot. I also look at guys too and think there hot. My boyfriend was given a picture of an indian about 8 years ago the picture is of his face only with a bird painted on it I think he look's like Brandon Lee anyway one night right after he got it we were watching tv and for some reason my boyfriend and I looked at the picture and his face was moving and changing first his eyes would roll back and blood would run down then he blew kisses and then his face changed green and he looked like a demon and I know we seen it at the same time because we both gasped and I jumped up and my boyfriend was like you seen it too we still have it and I try not to look at it but everyday I catch it out the corner of my eye like he's making faces and when I look it look's normal it's a big picture and I can't figure why it did that what do you think I can't find anything on the internet about it and I looked up the company and still nothing

I just read in an answer to another person's question that there's going to be a New Heaven and a New Earth created! I might be able to accept the creation of a New Earth, but a New Heaven? I thought that both God and Heaven were Eternal. My understanding of Eternity is that it is without beginning or ending. Isn't Creation a beginning? The answerer also said the current Heaven and Earth are to be destroyed; if something is destroyed, is that not the end of its existence?

If Heaven is not Eternal how can we Live Eternally there? If Heaven is not Eternal, why would I believe that God is?

Are the only two choices Heaven and Hell? What if it is my free will to cease my existence? What if, even if I was hypothetically "good enough" to get into Heaven but the idea of being around for ever and ever and ever just did not appeal to me?

If you believe that our bodies will be at some point resurrected then:

If a true believer dies and get buried, his flesh decays and gets absorbed into the environment, where it gets incorporated into new living things.

If these living things are then eaten by another true believer who then dies, then the atoms that made up the first true believer are now in the second, or many other true believers.

Over time these atoms are going to be 'shared' multiple times, where most of the body of the first true believers will have been used over and over.


Now, when the resurrection comes and their bodies are made whole again, who gets what of the parts that were recycled?

Somebody is going to be not all there.
