Jews do no longer have faith Jesus became into the messiah. especially, the messiah became into meant to be human, no longer God. A political human chief. the thought God could be born a human or component to a trinity is against Judaism. 2nd, the messiah became into no longer meant to die for anybody's sins. that still could be against Judaism. The messiah became into no longer meant to be born of a virgin or crucified (this could be a Christian mistranslation of Jewish text fabric-- the previous testomony isn't comparable to the Jewish scriptures; issues have been replaced). His beginning father is meant to be from the lineage of David. If somebody would not have a beginning father in Judaism, they are able to't have a lineage. the sole way a Jew can get his lineage is from his beginning father (no longer his mom, no longer his step father). Jesus additionally did no longer fulfill the propheces. The messiah is meant to fulfill them so Jews will know he's the messiah. a number of the prophecies are: - he will rebuild the temple - each and all the Jews interior the international will return to Israel - there will be not extra wars - there will be not extra loss of life nicely... there are extra yet as you will locate, none of those issues befell for the period of Jesus' existence time or on account that. ultimately, interior the Jewish scriptures, God says his covenant with them is eternal, and that the Torah might by no ability get replaced or extra to. So something interior the Christian Bible (previous testomony is replaced, New testomony is an addition) is only no longer component to Judaism.

Since we don't believe we (or anybody else) is lost, and we don't believe in a Christian-style heaven, it's not something we worry about.
Rather than being concerned about getting into a heaven we don't really believe in, we are FAR more concerned about making the present world into a better place. The notion of "tikkun olam" - "healing the world" - is foremost in Jewish law and thinking. We know that there is NOTHING that can seperate us from Ha Shem. To help others, to keep ourselves healthy, and to keep the physical world healthy - all are the priorities of Judaism.
We believe that there are righteous persons of all faiths, and that all righteous persons will have a place in the world to come. That's not heaven - that's just a state of oneness with G-d - and what could be more heavenly?
Shalom!

Yes, our beliefs are different. These are the beliefs which distinguish Judaism from Christianity:
1) Jews believe that one person cannot die for the sins of another person.
2) Jews believe that we do not need a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
3) Jews believe that Jesus was not the messiah.
4) Jews believe that God hates human sacrifices. Who died on the cross? Was it Jesus-the-god, or was it Jesus-the-human? If it was Jesus-the-god, Jews don't believe that God can die. If it was Jesus-the-human, then all Christians have in the death of Jesus was a human death, a human sacrifice. Jews believe that God hates the very idea of human sacrifice.
5) Jews believe that one is born into the world with original purity, and not with original sin. Jews do not believe in original sin.
6) Jews believe that God is one and indivisible. Jews do not believe in a trinity.
7) Jews believe in The Satan, but not in a devil. There is a difference between The Satan and the devil.
8) Jews believe that God is God, and humans are humans. God does not become human nor do humans become God.
-and finally:
We Jews believe that all moral people merit heaven, regardless of their religious beliefs or lack thereof.

Oh no! How will you get into the muslim heaven if you don't believe in allah?
It sounds like you're about to invoke pascal's wager.
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (some people pray several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

I know that the old covenent & Levitical Priesthood is also an everlasting Priesthood. But the High Priest was to have the spotless lamb to atone for peoples sins.
So, peoples sins were atoned for. And when Jesus raised from the dead, the Old Testament Jewish Saints also raised up in their spirit/soul to the 3rd heaven.
Jesus is the only one raised up an everlasting body, soul & spirit.
So, this is an interesting question. Many Jews do believe Yeshua Messiah is Yahweh. They are called Messianic Jews. But some have their blinders on. So? If they reject Yeshua Messiah & their sins aren't atoned for, they won't go to heaven.
I am sure God puts them in a safe place. Unless they hated God & did the devils destruction work & ended up in hell fire.

The answer is very simple: we have a different path to G-d than you do. Sorry, we don't believe in Jesus and see no need to. All you have to do to have a place in the world to come is to be a good person (follow the Noahide laws). I know that *you* don't believe this, but I think that *you* will still have a place in the world to come--look me up when you get there.

According to Jewish docrtine, the "Olam Ha'ba" (or 'next world') goes to all the rightious and just of any race or religion. Don't take it personally, but we don't take your views on heaven as the end all and be all.

When I was a kid, my priest told us about "baptism of desire." The importance of that relates to babies, Jews, Muslims, etc. He told us that if people are intrinsically good and have a desire to be good and with God, that they will go to heaven. I'm sure I simplified that, but the point is that there is a place in heaven for everyone.

If you are talking about the Christian heaven, according to John 14:6, Jesus is the only way to the Father. So according to Christianity a Jew cannot go to heaven without accepting Jesus.
