You are just no longer attracted to your wife? I cheated on my wife, we seperated and we decided to get back together, but I have realized I am just no longer attracted to her. She has gained alot of weight after being pregnant with our second child (who passed away) and she has not made any attempt to lose weight. She does not keep her hair fixed all the time and sometimes she just lays around the house in sweatpants. I made a vow to stay with her forever and I want to do that, but I can not make love to her. Touching her and seeing her nude makes me sick to my stomach.

What should I do?

I've read some really cruel answers from Christians saying that people who have schizophrenia or depression or what not are being punished for their sins. What sin is really so bad that somebody should be sentenced to a life of torment? No wonder people can't stand you. I wouldn't be part of your loving god's family if he'd be so cruel to make somebody that did nothing but try to get by suffer so much. Keep your "gift". I don't want it.

the bible and christian theology basically say that all humans are sinful and deserve hell depite our best efforts, and it is only by the grace of god that we get to go to heaven.
I must severely take issue with that idea.
I know i'm not a perfect person, but i know i'm a notably moral person and that i have done nothing truelly horrible and hateful in my life. it just don't make sense to say so broadly that humans deserve nothing but hell no matter what. how can people be so reassured in citing the notion of original sin? Because my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother ate an apple that god told her not to, i am in eternal debt to god so much that i deserve hellfire?

God has no need for circumspection to exist and thrive as humans do and this could lead to a secret jeoulousy of us small humans which he created. Call me demon if it makes you feel better. But if you can't answer the question then don't attempt it.

...........and their versions of Adam & Eve refused to eat the apple?

Would that make us the black sheep of the family in the eyes of god?

Would he favour those who never had the arrogance to defy him by eating from the tree of knowledge?

i think man in the mirror is the best.

what do you think? or don't you care.

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer's Disregard,
A Broken Bottle Top
And A One Man's Soul
They Follow Each Other On
The Wind Ya' Know
'Cause They Got Nowhere
To Go
That's Why I Want You To
Know

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change

Then Make A Change)

Na Nah)

Kind Of Love

I go to a Holiness church/Pentacost..I have been going for over 2 years..Itruely love this place of worship, and I believe Gods spirit is with us in every service..We have a wonderful preacher who tells it like it is, and preaches hard on us..He says hes trying to save our souls, and I believe he is...But in order to go to heaven, we have to receive the Holy Ghost?, and I believe in this..What do other people think of this, and how do things happen at your place of worship?

The funny thing is so many people just think it's fine and dandy to have sex and abort the fetus but when somebody say using drugs that's a horrid thing.

Wouldn't want to decrease productivity.

What a sick ****ing world we live in.

I'm utterly amazed at how few people caught on to the fact that I was JOKING in the "question for dumb atheists" post. I was even accused of being a multiple belief troll. Give me a break. I was certainly expecting to piss people off, but I wasn't expecting to piss off the atheist camp, who I imagined would get a good chuckle out of the whole thing.

And to anyone who felt that my tongue-in-cheek "argument" in that post was even mildly coherent or persuasive, all I can say is, "wow".

I was a really strong christian before and now I have no faith at all. A prophet in my school dreamed that I died spiritually. I set four conditions, Lord if it is your will to save me let a,b,c,d happen and I wrote down the probability of each event happening. All of these conditions have been fulfilled.
