My attitude has changed somewhat.
1) I am no longer afraid of death and am looking forward to heaven.
2) I now know that heaven is far from boring (which I had previously thought many moons ago)

blessings UW :)

I was always a little skeptical but as I grew older I saw it was as if children described their ideal place when people spoke of Heaven. Everyone's version was different. So now, I don't believe in Heaven at all but I do believe humans have a spirit that lives on in some way. Where and how I have no idea. I am 53.

I am 31 and when I was younger i didn't think about heaven much since I was brought up in a non-religious household.
When I turned to God at the age of 20, I began to wonder what Heaven would be like, and from the slight glimpses I have had of God's presence when praising Him, I believe it will be beyond anything we can comprehend.

I am a young adult. When I was a kid, I thought heaven much like I saw in cartoons. I assumed that heaven was somewhere in the sky. That made sense to me as a child. I thought there were angels floating around with harps and God made it thunder when he was bowling on Friday nights. I was a kid and believed things very literally. When I got older, I learned that these things are simply cute stories. Now, I have come to terms with understanding that heaven is not something that we will understand until we are there. I believe that heaven is being in constant worship. Living a live in eternal worship of God. That is the view I have come to terms with as I have grown over the years and grown in my faith.

I'm 54, and the older I get, the more that I am looking forward to going to Heaven. I've lost so many friends and family members over the years that I can honestly say, "My treasure is in Heaven."

And as I've grown to love the Lord more and more, I long to see Him face to face. This "as through a glass darkly" thing just doesn't cut it when there's Someone you love more than life itself and want to be with.

I don't see those things changing except that my desire to "be dissolved and be with the Lord" will probably become even stronger as time goes by.

My age is, Well, older than most of you, I think of Heaven as home, where my parents are, and my departed wife. it would be nice if we could open a little window, and take a little peek in, yes, that would be nice. I can feel a little of Heaven, just thinking about it.

I used to think there are heaven and hell. Even though, born to Buddhism family. I had quite a lot of girl friends who were Christians, Muslim whom were not able to influence my thought.

After 30 years of searching, I realized that heaven and hell is just in mind.

very late 30's

as i child i (think) i remember thinking the whole 'city in the sky' bit but the truth is now while i don't believe that anymore, i don't much think about it either....but i suppose it could be a spiritual state of being where you're reunited with your ethereal family and can feel the oneness with God

I'm 31

Yes, I realized it is a magical land far far away, where church people get rewarded for stuff they should do anyway.

Originally I thought it was for everybody who is good. Actually it is for people who are goofy and go to church.
