Faith
Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Proverbs 26:12
This does not imply that we dismiss logistics and sound reasoning, but rather give place to the one who is all knowing.....rather than smuggly bask in our own conceit to the exclusion of his wisdom and Word.

Logic:
1. The study of the principles of reasoning, especially of the structure of propositions as distinguished from their content and of method and validity in deductive reasoning. 2a. A system of reasoning: Aristotle's logic. b. A mode of reasoning: By that logic, we should sell the company tomorrow. c. The formal, guiding principles of a discipline, school, or science. 3. Valid reasoning: Your paper lacks the logic to prove your thesis. 4. The relationship between elements and between an element and the whole in a set of objects, individuals, principles, or events: There's a certain logic to the motion of rush-hour traffic. 5. Computer Science a. The nonarithmetic operations performed by a computer, such as sorting, comparing, and matching, that involve yes-no decisions. b. Computer circuitry. c. Graphic representation of computer circuitry.
The ability to recognize, collect, organize and interpret data is necessary to reason.
Therefore these abilities, most of all the ability to THINK, supersedes logic.
You will notice that the word think is not listed as a synonym for the word THINK in Rogets, although a lot of uneducated people believe it is a synonym for the ability to THINK.

How about a new born baby wanting you to change diapers and you don't know how to do. How did you get stuck with that? Cause you got mad with the little woman and she went to her mother's house. Or your car dies on the freeway and your one hour away from an important meeting. Oh and you forget to recharge your cell phone.
Life supersedes logic. You just got trumped.

For some faith. Faith also appears to supersede reality for quite a few as well.
For the rest of us, nothing. (unless you happen to be Captain Kirk, in which case it does not matter, you are going to win by the end of the episode, at worst down a couple of red-shirts.)

Nothing supersedes logic, but I personally prefer empirical facts. A conclusion reached entirely by thinking about the problem without reference to external reality doesn't convince me as much as a conclusion with lots of good, solid evidence.
