Without a belief in God, what exactly is there left for you to have faith in? the inherant goodness of people?, organic vegetables? Al Gore? The second coming of Elvis?

You've got to do the dance and put in the time to get the feeling. Without a supreme being, faith to me, sounds like a collosal exercise in narcissitic masturbation.

Yeah, it always surprises me when people forget that there are all sorts of things in which to have faith. Things that even the average religious person should have faith in. For example, oneself, and one's ability to do and be good. And how about faith in other people? Faith that the sun will rise the next day? No religion required for that one. I have all sorts of faith, minus the belief in god, and because of it I find myself fulfilled.
