There are a lot of spiritual debates on this thing. And alot of Christians trying to persuade you to become one. is there any posibility of this happening. In other words do you think you or any other Christian will become a Christian becasue of something they say on here.

protestant means evangelical pentecostal charismatic and traditionals like anglicans lutherans baptists etc..survey shows pentecostal and charismatics are growing at the rate of 10% annualy,while others show only little growth rate.pentecostal evangelicals worldwide is 400million and is growing at around 9% while traditionals and charismatics are growing at about 4% and they number around 500 million .roman catholic growth rate is 1.5%there are around 30000 protestant churches worldwide.

I say that, because my orthodox friend, has pictures of her everywhere. And is a big beleiver in her.... Tells me that she is sinless, is the mother of all Angels. Do Catholics believe this too? But I don't know where she gets her information from. I sdon't remember reading she was Sinless in the Bible.

My father works a lot of hours. Owns his own heating and cooling business. He spends all of his money pleasing his wife. He drives a piece of crap to work, etc. so his stay at home wife can drive a BMW Mini Cooper. He works 6 days a week and on Sunday she puts him to work in the yard, house, etc. He likes to golf but he doesn't do it enough to buy him anything for it. He doesn't really have any hobbies except in his 'spare' time he buys, renovates and rents out houses. He's very selfless to say the least. Growing up my siblings and I would always buy him tools, drills, etc. for christmas. Now that I'm in my 30's I feel bad buying him something for work. But I don't know what to get him. He plays the lottery a lot so I thought about scratch off tickets. He would probably love it but is that cheezy or do you have a great suggestion? Save the wife jokes, he loves her regardless of their arrangement. I need some real answers and I know this is a great place to get them!

I was wondering why? Because Jesus said, "anyone who follows me, will become a saint"., Something like that. So why does the church make their own saints....

Why is it that people preach that homosexuals need God, and then when they actually show up at church the really religious freak out? Shouldn't EVERYONE be allowed, even welcomed with open arms in church? We have adulterers in church, unwed mothers, all kinds of people who have sex before marriage. Which is worse to you? According to the bible, they are all the same. Doesn't God look upon one sin the same as He looks upon another? So why are people who have committed other types of sin welcomed into the church and pitied and hugged and loved when they confess their sin, but like I said when a homosexual goes to church, people freak out.

I am a Christian & so is my fiance and his whole family ( Pastoral Home)-he comes from, but I on the other hand (my whole family ) as of now are not Christians. Well we are getting married at my mothers home (tent wedding)on Feb 10th 07. My mother said instead of having beer and liquor out. She would make punches for my family (with liquor) and punches for my fiances family (without liquor)..I thought that was ok....and so did my fiance! but last night after talking affraid some of his family members wouldn't go to the wedding he suggested no liquor! but I don't feel i want to ask that of my family..(if anything i think we should show example--but not by forcing them) It is my mothers home and she is making all the arrangments ! what should I do ????? I don't want to start comforming to his family...my family is just as important!!

One of mine went like this, mom sets up 2 trees, pretty untouchable in living room, everything else in the den and it's where santa always put presents. One year santa decides to put presents under the pretty tree, 4 young kids run for the den only to find no presents under the tree, parents laugh hysterically kids feel traumatized. Today we still laugh at the thought.
