I have heard and read about the superconscious state of a human being as active when asleep and the conscious state as active when awake. How do the two states of mind relate and how do dreams come in? Can dreams be used to foretell the future events? Do other animals dream? What actually are dreams?

From what I have read it appears that the Muslim faith do not recognise what is generally known as Christmas. I have to be careful here as I don't want to insult anybodies faith. It's just there are a lot of Muslims in this country and lets face it the UK virtually comes to a stop at Christmas. So can anyone enlighten me on how the Muslim people cope in this country at Christmas and what do they do with the time they get off from work, school etc.

No one needed to die for yours or my sins to be forgiven! Jesus taught that all had to believe in him, Son of God, Lord and Savior, be sorry for their sins, and forgive all others, and sin no more! I can understand the "NORAD tracking Santa" or old broadcasts of "Well, kids, we just got a report from the airport of a sleigh and eight tiny reigndeer. Time for bed"

But web cams? Isn't that taking it too far?

When I was in the third grade after xmas break the teacher ask each child to stand up in front of the class and tell what they got for xmas. Well you can imagine the list of things these kids had. Mine was pretty good too. But one boy stood up in front of everyone and said " I got a red truck" I have never forgotten that. How can anyone believe that this is a holiday that thier god approves of when so many people are hurting because of it?

The parts have been accumulating there for years, complete with pieces of solder, various circuit boards and loose electronic components. Shouldn't it have evolved into some form of computer by now, complete with operating system?
