My husband and I moved into our first apartment a few months ago. Our male friend (also married, we are also friends with his wife) stops by unannounced. Sometimes I am at home in my pajamas, sometimes we are asleep, and sometimes we're having a private moment or we just want to relax and watch a movie...or cook dinner for two, not three! Our friend will call and even if we do not answer, he will still stop by after he is done work. He finds excuses to come over such as "I just wanted to bring you some Pepsi." He's a great friend, but too clingy--and doesn't he have his own wife to go home to?

My husband and I just aren't comfortable with him intruding. We feel that most people would have gotten the idea after we stopped answering his phone calls when we do not want to be bothered. Should we say something to him? If so, what, and should I have to say it or should my husband? I have known this friend for about a year and a half, husband for about 7.

i am aspiring to become a pilot in the indian air force but this stupd system does not allow women 2 b pilots . but in the US women are allowed .WHAT IS OUR FAULT???????????/

The ancient mayans used the stars to predict the time. Todays scientists have studied their methods and have proven them only 30 seconds off from the real time. They said that the world will end in 2012, so does that mean that perhaps they are off by 30 months? So therefor, couldn't that mean that the earth will end sometime between 2011 and 2013?

As I am helping my brother through a seperation from his partner; he is greiving a lot, & has a tendancy to hold in his thoughts & feelings, I encourage him to talk, which helps him, although he struggles to relax; I made up my own & that worked for him, however I would apreciate a popular one.. thanks

Here in the UK, Brit prisons are considered just a step down from a basic holiday camp. We have the impression that US prisons are a lot tougher. Please enlighten us.

what did you think about it? personally i was amazed that a group of people (into which i fall) who choose to believe in science and not god, can be verbally attacked for a full hour by some scruffy looking fat jeremy clarkson style presenter for taking a reasoned sensible approach to thier conciousness rather than beliving in some cock and bull story of creation thought up in the dark ages? I bet if that presenter got cancer he would be the first in the queue to rely on science to save him and would not sit around under a tree praying for a miracle to save him. To attack atheists in a world of chaos fuelled by relegious hatred is laughable in the extreme. what does anyone else think?

is it to test faith, i.e. invent something so far fetched and unbelievable and pointless that only the truly faithful will believe?

Myself have said racist things or had racist thought mostly for a laugh or at the end of a really bad day. However i will never consider voting BNP and I really don't think a particular race is superior to another.

By the way : I am of half morrocan half spanish, I was raised in France and my girlfriend is white.
