Can someone give me some hope for humanity. I drive down the road and all these rude people are pulling out in front of me and won't let me change lanes (I swear they'd rather die as let you over in front of them), I go to the store and rude people are blocking the isles and grabbing for stuff and nobody would EVER let you in front of them if only have 1 item and they have like 100. I go to the drive thru window at a restuarant and they just throw my food out the window at me (never thanks, come again). At work I get all the smart a** calls from people about their accounts. Never a friendly question, they just start out being rude. I've always tried to be kind and use my manners but I have just about lost all care and concern for mankind because it seems like everybody is just basicly sh**ty. Is there hope? Why don't people care anymore? Everyone says they do but I just don't see it.

Does anyone know of what sorts of traditions and ceremonies were part of this event? I've heard that the winter solstice (maybe more than the summer solstice, the longest day) was perhaps the biggest celebration for pagans in the year, as the winter solstice was the start of days getting longer and more all important sun. Is this true? Also, is there a coincidence that Christmas is near this day?

She was not in sin, and had faith in Jesus, her Lord, and Savior! There is a movie with the truth, not a bullet entered her body, and it wasn't, because they had bad aims or defective guns! Killing humans at any time is sin! The death penalty, war, abortion, the morning after pill, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, suicide, all are sin! God said "Thou shalt not kill"! The job of the military is to protect and serve, not to kill! It is to find, capture, and bring to justice, those who are accused of breaking the law! It is to stop the killing, losing a life is not, what is intended! You do all you know to do to stop the killing without killing anyone! It may take longer, using your brain,or waiting, but all life is valuable, and no one has the right to kill another! There is no cause, acceptable, which will kill another human being! You stay free of sin, believe and hope to live, do your job, because you are needed! All are God's children! We need to abide by God's laws! Not allowing killing, right?

Every X-MAS,every Thks.Give it's the same.Feed the hungry, clothe the poor and don't forget about the children.PLEASE, THINK OF THE POOR CHILDREN!!It's like we give the poor free publicity once a year to make up all the other months we (as a society) generly pretend they don't exisit. Most of us certaintly don't think of the hungry or poor starving, naked w/ 2nd degree sunburns from thier lack of clothes in the middle of August.I guess only the feeling of obligation and guilt work when the whole world is telling you,you must give a little to be a good human.I certaintly hope we don't think all that canned food keeps all the needy families fed till next holiday season.I think it's sad that generaly we onlly care once a year and only because our peers are standing around watching you, watching them give too.

When the Sanhedrin wer contemplating what to do with the apostles Gamaliel gave sound advice:

If what they have planned and done is of human origin, it will disappear, but if it comes from God, you cannot possibly defeat them. You could find yourselves fighting against God. (ACTS 5:38-39)

TODAY CHRISTIANITY IS THE LARGEST RELIGION IN THE WORLD. IS THIS BECAUSE OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE?

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Are there women out there for a feminine guy or does he have to be gay?

I admit I'm an academic, all brain and no common sense- I can do next to nothing with my hands but I'm very interested in practical skills; everything from plumbing to building and furniture making. However can someone who is a born academic with no talent for practical work be taught it after 21 years or do you have to have a natural 'touch'?

Thanks!

My brother is gay. I've known about it for about 8 years now. I am totally accepting of him and his lifestyle. He told my mom some years back and she locked herself in the bathroom crying and asking what she did wrong as a mother. Since then no one has mentioned anything further about it to her. He never said anything to my dad. I'm the only one in the family that really knows the true him. I'm the only one that he can have meet his boyfriends. I feel really bad that he can't be himself around my parents. I want him to be able to be himself. I am proud of everything that he puts up with and he still has the guts to be proud of himself! What should he do about my parents? He had to move back in with them (for financial reasons) so he has to put himself back in the closet and pretend to be a "normal" man. Do you think he should try again with my parents or should he just pretend to be something he's not when they're around?

Right off the bat, I'm pro-Israel all the way.

Anyway, for those of you who don't think Israel has the right to exist, what do you think should have become of all the Jews spread all over the world?

From today's Guardian, " According to a recent Harris opinion poll for the Financial Times, only one in three people in Britain say they are "a believer". In France, it's less than one in three; even in Italy, it's less than two thirds; only in the United States does the figure exceed three quarters."
