A lot of time when you work in that type of job it puts you in a mood to focus on the bad. People are usually angry when calling & take out their frustrations on you. I've been guilty myself. So I always start out with I know it's not your fault so if I get ticked don't take it personally. But most people don't. There are all kinds of miracles & kindnesses out there. Everyone is in such a rush they don't think. I do agree too many forget common courtesies. But if you show others kindness you might be surprised at how much their attitude changes. Some are just pr##ks to begin with. Those you need to pray for. It must be miserable to live with that kind of attitude towards others.

I think it may be because you're kind of looking for it. It's like when you go to a store like everyday and one day you want to buy something different, but you can't find it, even though you saw it all the other days. I'm not sure if you understand that explanation, but maybe if you don't look for it, you'll soon start to see it. There are many (although it doesn't seem like many) decent people left. So don't give up hope, people have just become superficial nowadays and they've lost sight in what's really important. My advice: get a stress ball and don't turn into one of those people. Have a good day now, ya'hear? Lol. ::KISSES:: = D

Yes people do care. You sound like a wonderful person, do not let the negativity get to you. Unfortunately I do believe the world is in deep do-do and humanity does not have the answer. If we did you'd think we'd all be living in peace and harmony right now, I mean look how long we've had to practice. The answer lies in Christ my friend.
So here's to hoping you're have a great day, and I will keep you in my prayers.
love,
Me

Take care of yourself. However, any supernatural thing wont come and help you cope, no matter what one says. Just remember to reward yourself after you've had a bad day, with.. mm.. moldy cheeses and red wine, perhaps reading a good book.
For your work dilemma- You should study ways how YOU get in control of the conversation. Take the information out of them, and don't let them abuse you verbally, because they have no right for that.
Also, that is true about traffic. Perhaps in this sad world, one has to learn to just do something and let other accomodate to you, instead of the opposite.

I heard alot in the past where people would say don't ever change for anyone. Bad days are bad days...and they don't just last one day...and trust me there are MANY MANY *ssholes in this world...it's hard to avoid when you have so many individualists worrying about me myself and I. BUT...not everyone is like that....some people have bad days such as yourself, and they get fed up with other people's bad days such as yourself, and so they basically lose hope for humanity just like yourself...and then BAM..put themselves under the same boat as all the other bastards that are rude and disrespectful. That's why you don't solve a wrong with a wrong....because if that was the case EVERYONE will be wrong. So don't worry, cheer up, look at the GOOD things people do, like those who let you through the lanes, or those who say good morning and god bless on their calls to you, or peopel who crack jokes with you, and they dont' even know you.
For example, when i worked at mcdonalds...trust me i've seen the worst customers anybody can ever know, specially since that area was ghetto anyway, but you'd have those grouchy people giving you the attitude n what not, but for me, i refused to let them screw up my day...so with every order i'd crack a joke, flirt around, and just be cool with each and every customer....even with the *ssholes, they could snap all they want, but they had no justice no say or ANYTHING, because i kept my cool, so normally they were just forced to shut up cause i didn't give in to their attitude, actually sometimes i'd actually MAKE people's day cause they often times were just pissed off for some reason or another.
Is there hope? Meh...too many peopel and too many different personalities to tell....its' not a matter of hope, but more about tolerance. Can you TOLERATE humanities bad apples, and in essence focus more on the good ones that make this world great? People do care, it's hard to see sometimes because we are shrouded with rebellious "i dont' care" attitudes, and the likes...but don't lose your kind heart because they did...keep it, and spread it to as many as you can.

Stand back and give yourself a moment to breathe - now think about it - how are you toward other people? If your attitude is "I'll be nice when they are." then forget it. You're doomed to live life like you are.
Is it really important in the grand scheme of things whether or not you get to cut into line at the supermarket? (they were there first) or if someone cuts you off in traffic? So what? Why get so bent out of shape about it? Exactly what does that accomplish?

Just continue to be kind. A kind word can turn away wrath. I personally when encountering people like this would say something like" Oh, I am sorry you are having a bad day," "Please, don't take it out on me,." It works every time. We all have bad days, some have them everyday, all day. Just as a smile is contagious or a kind word, so is an miserable attitude. I would rather have the smile! God bless****

You don't see the best of mankind on a busy workday. People are stressed and don't feel they have the time to be polite. It's a shame but they are probably much better when they have more time to relax.
