definitively spanish. could be even interpretated as italian surname but it isn't.
it comes from the word "moro" (tanned/dark skinned man) that with the value of pejorative, in spain it's used to indicate a northen african man or a muslim.

It's a Spanish surname, but since it is spelled with an o it is probably Filipino.
