She was not in sin, and had faith in Jesus, her Lord, and Savior! There is a movie with the truth, not a bullet entered her body, and it wasn't, because they had bad aims or defective guns! Killing humans at any time is sin! The death penalty, war, abortion, the morning after pill, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, suicide, all are sin! God said "Thou shalt not kill"! The job of the military is to protect and serve, not to kill! It is to find, capture, and bring to justice, those who are accused of breaking the law! It is to stop the killing, losing a life is not, what is intended! You do all you know to do to stop the killing without killing anyone! It may take longer, using your brain,or waiting, but all life is valuable, and no one has the right to kill another! There is no cause, acceptable, which will kill another human being! You stay free of sin, believe and hope to live, do your job, because you are needed! All are God's children! We need to abide by God's laws! Not allowing killing, right?

No, I've not heard of Nora Lamb. Fascinating.

So I suppose you're not a big fan of George Bush, eh?

Killing is bad, I agree

But you are utterly deluded if you think that Nora Lamb got saved by God. Much more plausible than His Invisible Hand stopping the bullets would be that the firing squad missed because she was pregnant, perhaps they were Christians themselves.

There have been so many faithful Christians shot and murdered over time. Where was God when they needed him? How come Nora Lamb was more deserving? Wake up and smell the coffee my dear. I know you mean well.

I've heard many such testimonies. People in the U.S.
think they are being persecuted because they took the 10 Commnandments out of courthouses, and prayer
out of schools.
In China they make old women kneel on rocks for hours and tell them to pray. People get their arms cut off in some countires, but forgive their attackers. Where's our Christian forgivesness. All we do is hate!
I've even heard of missionaries who were about to be
attacked by a tribe of natives. But they left.
Later, when they got to know each other better. They
asked why they didn't attack. And the natives said it
was because of all the Big men with flaming swords
that guarded the them!
I heard of an African woman who had her spirit
taken out of her body, and she watched as some men beat her for being Christian, and was spared some of
the pain of the beating. Do you have faith God will
take care of you in your time of need?

Your story is very interesting and I am also a believer, but it did not say in the Bible thou shall not kill. A better translation of the ancient Hebrew and the latter copies written in Greek by the Byzantine Empire would be thou shall not murder.

Yes killing is bad. But were we wrong to defeat Hitler during WW2? Alot of people died during WW2 but alot more would be dying if Hitler was allowed to conquer the world. The price of inactivity far outweighs the price that was paid.

If a policeman kills an armed thug to save an innocent child. It's a good thing. He saved the child. The policeman, in his heart, was not shooting the armed thug just because he wanted to kill. He did it to save an innocent life.

It's my opinion that it's all about the intent within the heart.
