When the Sanhedrin wer contemplating what to do with the apostles Gamaliel gave sound advice:

If what they have planned and done is of human origin, it will disappear, but if it comes from God, you cannot possibly defeat them. You could find yourselves fighting against God. (ACTS 5:38-39)

TODAY CHRISTIANITY IS THE LARGEST RELIGION IN THE WORLD. IS THIS BECAUSE OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE?

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Ya. You fight Christianity, you fight God. Why have some serious atheists e.g. C.S. Lewis converted then?

Although Gamaliel is of the Sanhedrin would it not be confusing if he stated something like this as if opposing his own? Obviously, God made him said those things...

The bible says that the antichrist is the one who denies God the Father and His son,Jesus. Those who do not follow the teachings of Christ and does not recognize God as the Supreme being.

With that said, the question should be what is true Christianity that people should follow?

Many times it's not really God that people are against. It's the self-proclaimed righteous christians that's annoying people. Many Christains (thinking they are better than others) constantly attack other's religions. I am not saying all Christains, but many don't really understand what the word God and Jesus mean. They just follow blindly and believe everything what the pastors/ministers say. The churches interpret the bible the way they want it to mean and then would tell people that this is God's word.

I understand that you might feel that people are 'against" Christianity, but mostly people are only "against" the aggressive evangelizing, the attempts to have religious doctrine written into law, and the post-modern attempts to justify religious doctrine as "science" - this only results in bad science and bad religion.

And, really, most people who are not Christians simply have a different perception of "God", they are not "fighting against God".

If I'm the average vegetarian, I'm not "fighting" meat, I'm just not partaking of it.

Yes, there ARE people who are "fighting" Christianity, but these are small in number, and one should not decide therefrom that all people with a different religion (or no religion at all) are "fighting" you, or your "God".

But you have to remember that there is a natural push back against forces that seek to change people. Remember that "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction" thing you probably heard about in High School? The more aggressively Christians push to evangelize everyone, to have their religious doctrine made the law of the land, and to have religious doctrine taught in school, the more aggressive the push back will be.

My recommendation would be to tone things down; then the reaction will also be less adamant.

"DRYLY" speaking, the apparent answer would be yes.
However....
the Jewish Religion is based on the Tanach (the Old Testament)
Judaism is NOT against God, but rather is against Christianity.
It is written (in Romans if I am not mistaken) the The Jewish People have the ZEAL for things of God (that makes them NOT against God) but they do not have the revelation of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)
Christianity is maybe the biggest religion today, and would say that it might be because people are fulfilling their call to SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS of Salvation through Yeshua.
However, I don't see God as religious nor is He worried about our petty outwardly religious actions.
God is interested in our hearts...

I don't think true Chrisitanity is the largest religion. Alot have a form of godliness but deny the power there of. some people think Just because they were born in a certain place that makes them a Christian.

First of all- noone holds a candle to God. The only people who are against being a Christain are the people who don't know the truth yet.
