Well, trying to understand the world is a mistake already. The world isn´t meant to be understood, it is meant to be seen and appreciated the way it is. Anyone who trys to "understand it" will be locked on an eternal loophole of useless waste of time. Oh, by the way, try to find some poems by a portuguese author named Fernando Pessoa, specially those written under the name of Alberto Caieiro. You´ll love it, I promisse you. Regards, Gabriel.

Yes I can put the ocean into a cup, I take a cup & dip it in the ocean & I have a cup full of the Ocean. And it is not silly to True Christians to understand the Universal Truth. If you have a cup half full will you say it is half full or half empty.

I like your reasoning...I can't put the ocean into a cup...that's logical....if wisdom was to the ocean as my brain was to a cup however, it doesn't apply...
People can acquire wisdom and can apply it.....even an ocean of wisdom because each of us has the ability to learn from each other. Wisdom acquired this way does not require that we learn it all, it requires that we can aquire it from each other...
Wisdom alone is not an answer when one requires wisdom, the ability to apply it as well as the will to apply it, acquire the will and use that skill, then real wisdom will result.
Returning to the analogy, I fill my cup with a small amount of wisdom, share it with all, when I need to refill it I fill it from my neighbours cup, who refills it from his/her neighbours cup and so on, all we need is the will to approach and treat our neighbour with respect for the small bits of ocean they carry with them and we'll all benefit as long as we have the will there is always a way...
Peace to all

Sure, but it'd have to be a pretty big cup.
Trying to understand the truth isn't half as silly as not trying. What makes you think that humans can't comprehend it? Surely to make that claim you would have to know what it is, which you're saying is impossible.

Isn't it worth trying to get a little bit of it? Shouldn't we at least try to comprehend what we can of God's vast thought, and creation?
You can put a little ocean in a cup. But you'll probably spill it in the car on the way home!

I cannot put the WHOLE ocean into a cup, but I can fill the cup up with the ocean.
For some, one cup is enough to quench the thirst, while others may need another drink.

The spirit inside the physical body can hold the wisdom, some of us can understand life and this universe.
