Well in reality the reasons are your own. No one decides what religion you chose to associate yourself with.

In answering the first question, it is important to ask -
1) Who wrote the Bible?
2) When was it written?
3) In what language was it written?
You may have all the answers. Therefore you may say 'you believe the christian religion.'
As a Muslim, I have to point out that the Quran does not suffer from these criticisms. It has one author. Muslims believe this is Allah, i.e that it is the verbatim word of God. Even those Christians who argue that Muhammad (pbuh) wrote the Quran, nevertheless thereby agree that the Quran has one author. It was written (revealed would be a better word) over a period of 23 years, from when Muhammad (pbuh) was 40 until his death. It is all in Arabic and in several places it refers to itself as a 'Quran' and a 'book' (as well as many other epithets: a guide, a healing, a mercy, good news, a warning, teaching ets). And finally Muslims are agreed as to its contents.
Muslims are encouraged to read all of the Quran (if not memorise it). This is especially obvious during the month of Ramadan, when many Muslims read the Quran at least once, and it is recited frequently in tarawih prayers. Indeed, it has been divided into 30 sections (juz) precisely for this purpose: if you read one juz per day, you will finish the whole Quran within the month. These are living proof.....this we believe!
I hope the above provide some enlightenment!

Colossians 2:
8-See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.
16 -Therefore do not let anyone judge you with respect to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, new moon, or Sabbath days
17- these are only the shadow of the things to come, but the reality is Christ!
21- “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”
22- These are all destined to perish with use, founded as they are on human commands and teachings.
23- Even though they have the appearance of wisdom with their self-imposed worship and false humility achieved by an unsparing treatment of the body – a wisdom with no true value – they in reality result in fleshly indulgence.

Well Judaism, Islam and Christianity all follow the same God.
The Jews claim their descendancy through Abraham and Muslims claim their descendancy through Abrahams Son Ismael and Christians do not claim descendancy at all, their salvation is based on the grace of God and how he sent his only son to save us all.
As for the Pagans, well there's lots of different versions that celebrate a universal power (kind of mother earth, mother nature etc)
Faith is something that is inside each of us, alongside conscience.
everyone believes in God it just depends how much trouble you're in

The Bible is word of God if you test it. I invite you to read it and test it for yourself. Here are a few facts about the Bible:
Bible predictions of things to happen in the future confirm the inspiration of Scripture as they come to pass. Notice the following examples of fulfilled Bible prophecies:
A. Four world empires to arise: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome (Daniel chapters 2, 7, 8).
B. Cyrus to be the warrior to capture Babylon (Isaiah 45:1-3).
C. After Babylon's destruction, it would never be inhabited again (Isaiah 13:19, 20; Jeremiah 51:37).
D. Egypt would never again have a commanding position among the nations (Ezekiel 29:14, 15; 30:12, 13).
E. Earth-shaking calamities and fear toward the end of time (Luke 21:25, 26).
F. Moral degeneracy and decline of spirituality in the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
Can we expect scientific statements made in the Bible to be accurate?
The Bible says, "Thy word is true from the beginning." Psalms 119:160. "The Spirit . . . will guide you into all truth." John 16:13.
Answer: Yes, the Bible is true. The Holy Spirit, who guided the Bible writers, always speaks the truth. Here are a few Bible statements that have been confirmed by science:
A. "He . . . hangeth the earth upon nothing." Job 26:7. This scientific fact is from Job, the Bible's oldest book.
B. "He . . . sitteth upon the circle of the earth." Isaiah 40:22. The Bible said the earth is round centuries before man found out.
C. "To make the weight for the winds." Job 28:25. Long before scientists knew, God said air has weight.
D. "By Him [Jesus] all things consist." Colossians 1:17. The word "consist" here literally means "hold together" or "cohere." Many Bible translations put it "hold together." This is the answer to the nuclear physicists' worrisome question about the atom. The real mystery of the atom does not involve its benumbing mega-power, but rather, "Why doesn't the atom fly apart?" Scientific knowledge says it should, but it doesn't. Some scientists are wondering what puzzling power, completely unknown to them, is holding it together. The Bible says that mysterious power is the Creator, God Himself.
The 66 books of the Bible were written:
1. On three continents.
2. In three languages.
3. By about 40 different people (kings, shepherds, scientists, attorneys, an army general, fishermen, priests, and a physician).
4. Over a period of about 1,500 years.
5. On the most controversial subjects.
6. By people who, in most cases, had never met.
7. By authors whose education and background varied greatly.
Yet, though it seems totally inconceivable,
1. The 66 books maintain harmony with each other.
2. Often new concepts on a subject are expressed, but these concepts do not undermine what other Bible writers say on the same subject.

Christianity is the only religion that is not dependent on your works to save you. All other religions are religions of works. There is something you must do to make yourself acceptable to some higher power. Sacrifices, pilgrimages, indulgences, penance, meditation etc. All of these religions fall short because they are based on weak, faltering mankind. It is impossible for man to save himself. Sin is like quicksand. The more we struggle against it, the more we realize our inability to escape it. It invades every pore of our being, every molecule in our bodies. It is like a cancer, malignant and every present. No amount of good works will rid us of it.
In Christ, we find a Savior who lived the perfect life for us. A God who loved us so much that He gave His only Son to die for us while we were yet sinners. Christ bestows His perfect life to us as a free gift. We can not earn it in any way. By faith we receive it. In addition, He gives us the power to overcome sin, to eradicate it from our lives, to purify our body temple from the filth and cancer of sin. He can do this because He is our Creator and Sustainer, the Author of life. He does for us what we can not do for ourselves. He is the ressurrection and the life. He gives us eternal life as a free gift. We have only to accept it. True acceptance of this gift will naturally be manifest in good works, the keeping of the law of God. Love God and love mankind. No other religion offers this. Justification and sanctification resulting in eternal life.

Christ is the Only One who offers everlasting life. In Christianity God is personal, who can id with your afflictions, who promises not to leave nor forsake you, none of the others can offer you that.

Each one think his religion is the true one. Even non-believers think their is no God and no need to embrace a religion. I doubt if you will be convinced in whatever we tell you. Therefore, I will not advertise Islam. I am happy with it, why should I force it down your brain.

I'm sorry; but it IS your choice.
There are spiritual truths in ALL religions; and you should follow the one that you can believe is true, AND answers your spiritual questions.
