Ashi, men's so called superiority over women is a very old story that dates back to the time of creation. Let us not forget the harems and the purchase of women in the bazaars. Even now a certain religion allows the men to have four obedient wives for if they are disobedient to the men, they would get beaten by the men. Our present civilization is trying to change all that, but regrettaby it cannot succeed to change the stubborn and fanatic minds of certain sects and religious beliefs. Try to move to Europe or North America, there you will easily realize your dream.

If all the women got together, they'd be a huge power of 1 but that will never happen. Some women believe that they are inferior and will never go against the male system.
So if you really want to be a pilot, go where women are allowed and spread your wings.

My 20 year old niece is planning to get into the Air force to train as a fighter pilot. I don't think there are any gender issues with that these days.

Sounds like you have an awesome opportunity to break that glass ceiling girl! You have a fight in you....take it to the next level. Write letters to your leaders and get answers in writing. Speak to others who share your passion and brainstorm ideas to create a plan with positive results. I do not pretend to understand your political system, but I do know that India is emerging as an amazing country with the largest educated 30 something year olds in the world. You have young, educated minds all around you.
Remember to keep your manners and grammer when writing. You will get NO WHERE if you don't.

As you probably know, women in combat roles have always been a topic for discussion. I could be wromg but I think Isreal is the only country that uses women in combat roles. Here in the US they are support personel.
One reason to me is obvious......in a combat role there is always a chance or being captured. A male POW will face some bad times but if the POW is a woman......a whole new element of sexual torture comes in.
Just me thoughts.
